What TV shows are you currently watching

I started the Constantine series on Amazon Prime. It is good... But on the other hand I'm not particularly bothered about watching it tbh. Suppose that's why it was cancelled!

I also binge watched The People vs OJ Simpson. Absolutely brilliant.

Really can't see how anyone enjoyed Deadwood...

Superb show, partly based on historical fact and stellar performances and very well presents the sort of grim and filth that life actually involved at those times. Rather than clean cut crisply clothed people that you see in most westerns.

The new Punisher on Netflix - 3 episodes in and it's a little boring for me, except for 2 quick action scenes, so I'm hoping for more as the season progresses. Jon Bernthal is very convincing so far as a PTSD messed up vet but everyone else seems a little, Meh.

Witness-A Frozen Death. BBC4

I'm enjoying this Gallic hokum. I'm completely lost storywise because one of the actresses
looks uncannily like Catharine Tate and it's off putting, I'm half expecting her to launch into
a "am I boverred" strop when she's questioned by the fuzz.

It drifts aimlessly from unlikely premise into crass coincidence, then into Tatiesque
illogical farce with the panache of a 1959 Citroen DS.

Plus, the leading female Tec has had the same jeans and leather jacket on for 4 weeks, skanky article, quelle horreur.

im two episodes into Outlanders . is it worth sticking with ? just seems a bit chick flick to me

Lol, I love it, been watching religiously with the missus. At least the pace of the story is far better than that of GoT :D

Watched The Office again for the third time. Gareth's answer when asked what his ultimate fantasy would be and his face in the sidecar when leaving Chasers. :D

Is the US version worth a watch?

:D its just little things that are bugging me
the chances of her husbands relative looking that much like her husband she thought it was !! and what happened to her watch ? :D

For me, up until Steve Carrell left at least, this is one of the best comedies ever. But, I didn't watch/like the UK version, so don't watch the US one because you like the UK one. I find comedies are far more subjective than other types of show.

Yet time traveling through stones is plausible? :p

Hmmmmmm finished Punisher earlier, while there were more action scenes it all started to feel a bit Meh by the end, with Castle taking inhuman punishment yet 24hrs later running around unaffected by it with the same thing happening every episode. I guessed the "bad guy" twist very early so it was no surprise, although I feel thats more due to poor script writing than my detective skills. I also felt there was quite a lot bit of, well frankly unnecessary sex scenes which didn't progress the story and just felt tacked on as "well we need to be TV for adults like Game of Thrones" type thinking, although the Homeland Security actress is stunning.

Also, and this is a bit military geekiness so feel free to ignore it, but Marine Force Recon (of which Frank was a member) aren't classed as "Special Forces" within the USSOCOM chain but MARSOC (Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command) is, which is the sort of problem you get by not letting someone in the military look over the script to clear these issues up before they make it to screen. The same also applies to Franks "preparation" before engaging the "enemy" as he has nothing other than guns, yet a properly written SF character like the comic Frank Castle would have got trauma kits, support tools etc as well as just "Guns, Lots of Guns!" but as I said, this is all military geek stuff which will be missed by 9/10 people.
