What TV shows are you currently watching

Doubt there are many viewers on here but if you happen to be a Fauda fan (decent Palestinian/Israeli action drama), season 4 is finally out for the international crowd :).
My partners father keeps banging on about this show. We'll have to give it a go.

Started Succession. I thought it was going to be something fairly serious but I can't work out if it's a really dry comedy?

Enjoying it so far though

Dramedy probably the closest description for Succession, excellent show though. And yeah definitely give Fauda a go.

This starts off really well then quickly deteriorates. It's like he tried to put Silvio out in the middle of nowhere.
Should've listened.

Lillehammer - Started season 2... and watched two episodes.

Agree; just takes a turn. Moving on, as there is better stuff to watch!

Still working my way through Mad Men. It's not for everyone, as not a lot happens, apart from affairs & bonking. Very stylish though!

We're really struggling to find stuff to watch at the moment.

Slogged through The Rig.
Think we're giving up on Pieces of Her. Similarly, Peripheral we couldn't stick with.

Waiting for new Succession season. Tried to convince my OH to try Boardwalk Empire. Bit old now but was very good.

The Rig was painful

Fauda popped up on my netflix recommended last night, looks decent, just as I was about to cancel as well. Got a few days left so will see if it sticks.
Confirmation season 4 is pretty good, boshed 5 episodes back to back. A couple of moments where you think, well that doesn't make sense, but still an enjoyable watch.

Just finished Mr Inbetween

Thoroughly enjoyable Aussie black comedy/ crime drama. Ray Shoesmith what an amazing character!. Am going to find it hard to replace this with anything nearing the quality of this series.

Thanks to those on here who recommended.
I'm struggling to think of anything better I saw last year - obviously late to the party but I can't recommend it enough.

Started on Jack Ryan, although annoyingly Amazon Prime Video started me on S03E01.... but I don't think it's spoiled S01, which I've now come back to once I realised. I find it annoying Amazon does it like that, separates everything down by season, not by show. I saw JR, selected it, there was no 'Season 3' on the thumbnail and the button said 'Start watching' so I hit it. Nope, that was S3...

My 'lighter' comedy type is currently 'Dead To Me', which is okay, I find it odd though,
I get the hit-and-run, big mistake, so sorry. I can imagine that happening a reasonable amount, but Jen(?) just plain murdered the guy, no?

Surgeons: At the edge of life. Trauma Surgery.

Always a fascinating watch and as usual the skills of the surgeons are mind boggling.

It also shows the importance of how many different types of people they need to be able to do their jobs properly.
That everyone of them matters and is needed.

I'm not usually queasy but watching one of the doctors try and insert a chest drain into a biker, who had a serious accident, with his fingers, did make me feel a bit sick!

A lot better than I thought it would be, at face value I'd kind of written it off - but while not very original story wise it is a decent effort.

It's kind of what I wanted that ghost show from Nick Frost to be. That came out with a lot of hype and a big name attached and was rubbish. This I didn't even see a trailer for before it was released, mostly unknown actors and it's pretty good. I'm loving the flow of the story across the episodes rather than 'monster of the week' style. It's also nice to have a supernatural show that is British. The setting/fluff is interesting and surprisingly grim for a YA show (I'm actually tempted to check out the books).
