What TV shows are you currently watching

One Piece live action on Netflix was actually surprisingly good. Damnit, now I want to catch-up on the Anime again, but can't remember which season I stopped at.. I'll figure it out. :D

8/10 - Casting was generally very good and it perfectly captured the energy of animated version. Only complaint was the trans man playing Koby and the child playing a young Luffy looked nothing like him, and was a different race, but oh well.

Season 2 of Happy Valley finished, not quite up there with the first, a little too convenient in parts but still really well made and of a high quality.

One thing I did notice that bothered me a little was a plot device re-used across both seasons and hope they don't repeat it in S3 -

Both the kidnapping of the daughter in S1 and the murder of the blackmailing woman in S2 had an element of 'oh, didn't really need to do that' revealed quickly after each event. In S1, he's offered the money needed after he puts things in motion, in S2 the detective finds out his wife is having an affair and could have just left her after he killed the woman. Obviously, this is a tragedy trope in common use, it's just very glaring.

If there is a similar event in S3, i'll be a bit disappointed.

I don't think I've seen anyone mention 5 bedrooms?

It's Australian and about 5 people who move into a shared house.

It really isn't the type of thing that I would normally watch but it is strangely addictive and heart warming.

It brings up lots of current topics and although serious and sad at times, it still is gently sweet and funny.

Just really well written.

I think a lot of your female other halves will really love it and I think a lot of you men, will appreciate it too.

Series four is out on iplayer.

Weird, I thought Koby was one of the most spot-on castings, didn't know (and don't care) about them being trans.

On to Season 2 of Foundation, enjoyed season 1 and I think all of S2 is now on Atv, binge time.

Edit just recognised one of the sets on the series, ends up we were there 10 days before filming in Lanzarote even got my pic next to where they filmed.

Enjoying this too :) No complaints from me so far.

4 episodes into Silo and both myself and my wife are utterly engrossed, well paced, no filler, quality actors showing up all over the place, I have some theories but probably way off the mark. Eagerly enjoy sitting down each night after son has gone to bed for another episode.

Don't read the Silo thread. Many people would disagree. :D

Actual TV i don't tend to watch much(Basically Never mind the Buzzcocks and F1) but as for the streaming services, I am currently watching Only murders in the building on Disney+. Its alright, misses seems to enjoy it.

About to start the final series for Bosch (S7) and Ozark (S4) really enjoyed both!

I watched both up to some point but just never got round to finishing either series.

Started to pick up Michael Connelly's Bosch books. :)
