What TV shows are you currently watching

Watched first episode of "The Offer" about the making of The Godfather, really enjoyed it. Matthew Goode, Burn Gorman, Giovanni Ribisi, a good cast overall - which is usually is a decent indicator of a watchable show in my experience.

Wags is a great watch, I think the whole cast is very watchable and that's what makes the show, it's not amazing TV but I always found it very enjoyable. Not everything has to be as good as Succesion to be good.
 
Finally finished my epic Game of Thrones-fest, marking the first time I’ve seen the ‘notorious’ season 8 since it aired.

I loved it all (the whole show) the first time around and I think I enjoyed it just as much if not more this time. What a ****ing show! \o/

The peak of the show for me is season 1, with slight sags in series 2 / 3 then keeping fairly consistently good for most of the run.

There was only one thing that really irked me plot-wise which was actually in series 6 … which loads of people online seem to agree was something that made no sense:

Why on earth did Sansa not tell Jon about the knights of the vale before the battle with the Boltons? They never explained it.

Very weird and stands out like a sore thumb as something that makes no sense!

I do think season 7 fumbles hard early on:
Euron Greyjoy is just way too goofy and that Ed Sheeran cameo is really jarring. It feels like they lose a bit of subtlety.

The tension between Arya and Sansa also feels a bit forced in this season, IMO.

But I think it recovers it in season 8:
Yes it’s very fast paced and less tightly written, but Jon screwing up everything by being unable to lie… and Dany going full meltdown, feels tragic and wholly consistent with the usual ‘Game of Thrones’ misery, IMO.

Bran is still pretty annoying but as I was expecting this he annoyed me a little less this time!

Deffo my favourite TV show :)

Finished The Bear season 3 too. I don't think it was as strong as the first two, but still very good. It suffered from not being quite such a tense story running through the season, left a couple of episodes feeling a little filler-y.
 
Been rewatching all 6 seasons of Silicon Valley over the last 2 weeks.

Amazing show, shame it didn't continue for a few more seasons. I rewatch this once a year or so, I think this is my 5th or 6th rewatch since it finished.

Gave it a rewatch myself not long ago.

One of my favorite comedy series and so easy to binge watch.
