What TV shows are you currently watching

I recently binged all of Slow Horses, love it and can't wait for another series.

Currently on last episode of S3 of For All Mankind. No idea why I didn't watch it earlier.

I did try once before, but I wasn't focussed enough to follow the story. It was only when I tried it the second time, I was paying attention so got hooked!!

I was the same, watched first episode but never carried on (watched Silo and Foundation instead).
Slow Horses, S4 is on now, 5 episodes available.
Not missing it, about the only thing I look forward to watching every week at the mo .

Just started Stranger Things :D
You will enjoy.

Just finished up the third season of Mayor Of Kingstown. Talk about a dysfunctional mess of a city, almost like something out of a GTA game with rival gangs and factions having at each other. However the last episode seemed to rush a helluva lot of story into just over an hour and...
Killed off a helluva lot of characters.
They brought the ex IRA guy Milo back at the end of the previous episode to reveal him as the antagonist behind most of the current season's misdeeds, but promptly killed him off again.
The prison governer decided to commit suicide by Arien Brotherhood.
The Russian Mafia boss got topped by Iris who then topped herself on a bus leaving the town.
The SWAT leader Robert got shot by one of his own team as he was about to put down an armed bystander in the big gang battle.
Mike (Renner) still alive but sat in his car in the middle of nowhere looked as if he wanted to give his pistol a BJ.
All in all a bit grim, not sure if there will be another season to untangle the outstanding story lines.

Getting down to the last few episodes of For All Mankind. My daughter has taken to watching them with me late evenings, so I just have to give her a rundown of previous events that are pertinent to any characters etc.

She also likes to discuss how it differs from actual history. It was always one of her favourite subjects at school but they never covered much of the post WW2 period. So that has always been an area of mutual interest for us.

The Pacific, loved Band of Brothers first time around and recently rewatched the series, so though I’d give this a go. Only 1 episode in and it’s not hitting as BoB did, but still fairly decent.
Band of Brothers was a hard act to follow.

The Pacific does get better, so stick with it. I struggled with the first episode as well.

Pachinko season 2. There was a scene involving rice from season 1 which will live with me as one of the greatest scenes ever in TV. There's a moment in this latest episode (S02E07) involving folding clothes that was a real gut punch that will also stick with me. Incredibly underrated show.

I recently watched for all mankind and thought it was best thing I've seen in ages.
Was totally addicted and always wanted to watch the next episode.
Consistently good through all the series imo.

First series in a while that has actually got my heart rate up. It is a proper roller coaster of emotions, so glad it has another season coming. I will happily pay to see it next year.

Man you're really selling the show to me here :p.

Started Ripley last night, only 1 ep in. Loved the film, this seems ok so far but feel the B&W detracts a bit form how stylish the film was and especially how well Jude Laws character was dressed. Uber cool 1960's Italy.
