It's very good but the books are better. S1 of the TV series introduced a lot of padding that wasn't really there in the novels and only got to about halfway through BookOne. The good stuff is yet to come, depending how closely they follow the source material. Book 2 being essentially a prequel which gives you all the background you need on how, why and by whom the Silos were created.Up to episode 6 of Silo season 1, seems to have gone a bit slow, so hoping it picks up a bit
Basically if Netflix made the Misfits seriesIn South London, a group of normal people suddenly develop superpowers, and the only apparent connection between them is that they are all Black; as they deal with the impact of their powers on their daily lives, one man must bring them together.
Just finished BSG (2000s version).
Best sci fi of all time? Maybe. I know a lot say it is.
I'd give it a 9 or 9.5 out of 10.
Yes. It's better than any one star trek as there are virtually no "dull" episodes.
Its not super cheesy sci fi either. Leans into a lot of genres.
Alice in borderland, about three episodes in. Similar vibe to squid game, but not quite as good. Watchable all the same.
Some elements of it are unsurpassed with the world building and the way things develop in the first few hours. The long continuous opening shot through the ship is great. I didn't like where it went later though.
I think you meant to say Laszlo and Colin Robinson!Season 5 of What we do in the Shadows, as I prepare for season 6 in a couple of weeks.
Only 2nd time watching it and it was very good, definitely better than the previous couple of seasons. Laszlo and Guillermo steal the show, as always.
