What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

This is great - have you met the reaper in VR yet? Apparently there is a mod for the sub zero one aswell which I am gonna try soon.

Nope I haven't met the reaper yet, didn't even know there was one!! I am playing this game blind, as in, I know nothing about it and haven't read anything either. Only thing that I know is that people rate it highly.

And they say it's scary!! But I haven't gone very deep yet, haven't even gone into the Aurora. I am chicken :p:D

A quick tip would be to swim around the shallows of the Aurora, plenty of useful sub parts to find.;)

Game scares the **** out of me, the only game in VR i just can't no longer play. Monsters in VR seem to freak me out, it's the same with some of the reptilian nasties in No Mans Sky.

A much more sedate American Truck Sim has been filling my time, while i explore the new Colorado release.

I put hours and hours into the European version. The highlight of my career was me missing my turn on the motorway because I wasn't paying attention and had gone about 5 miles before I realised my mistake. That might not seem like much, but, I was on a deadline and the next turn was like 40 or 50 miles away. So I did a U-turn and drove the wrong way down a 3 lane motorway until I reached my turn off. Then had to do another U-turn like manoeuvre to get onto the road I wanted. And all without getting hit by those crazy drivers.

I do remember seeing a video of Subnautica, and al i saw was a guy swimming though the sea, nothing more, looked totally boring

now im reading above , your all raving about it , so i did a quick google and saw a steam trailer and it actually looks really good

Just look at the reviews on steam. Out of 144,000 reviews, 138,000 are positive.

I sold my CV1 and don't have a decent usb cable (yet.... It's arriving tomorrow) so currently playing a bit of Eleven TT and thrill of the fight in my quest2.

Anyone who says you can't improve fitness in VR is bonkers. TOTF killed me last night. Must add face cover for Xmas present..that foam cover on the Q2 is comfy enough but it's like a sponge. Not good when you sweat.

Blade and Sorcery is the one that's VR poster boy, much loved mod support. If you want to hack and slash some more, then look up Until you fall.

thanks

yeah that's the one that i looked at, shame there's not more "demos" available, i prefer to try before i buy

like beat sabre, bought it

SuperHot Demo , loved it , but i cant play it in my room very well , i have to get stationary / guardian in a certain place lol

Anyone recommend me some sit down games. Not got the space I used to have :(

I have the original rift btw

Many standing games can be played seated, but if you want proper seated experiences here are some suggestions. You may need an Xbox gamepad to play some of these.

Alien Isolation MotherVR mod
Subnautica
Moss
Hellblade: Sensua's Sacrifice
Pixel Ripped
Star Trek Bridge Crew
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter VR
Thumper
Any racing, flight or space sim.

Alien Isolation VR is definitely the most scary game I've ever played, but it's also one of the best seated VR experiences. What's even more amazing is it's a mod that was made without access to the source code.

i couldn't get on with the non VR version of Alien Isolation, i got so far, then i thought , erm what's is actually going on ? i don't understand this!
stopped playing..

is the VR version free if you own the game ?

It's a fan made mod for the original game. Hes done a great job considering it's not built for VR, But does have some level of Jank to deal with
