Strange, as I can use smooth movement (but no smooth turn). Possibly because I'm using an xbox controller.
I'll have to try this using Airlink
Found it, the settings are in the TV

Seem to be just playing Skyrim VR lately. Using Ultimate VR modlist wabbajack addons.
Have oculus bitrate ret to 500, using USB link (2.4 Gbps).
Setting Steam VR SS so that it shows as over 300% still seems pretty blurry distance stuff And doesn’t look any different to default, GPU is well under 100% even at 350% SS.
Any other tweaks for getting distance to look less blurry/Compressed anyone suggest?

Check what Unseul said and make sure you have it set to max resolution in the Oculus app.
And, I have modded Skyrim myself but didn't use the Wabbajack tool. Does it have an option for setting up Dyndolod? If not, that's a mod you should look into installing yourself. It makes a massive difference to distance stuff.
Thanks guys. 1.4 is the maximum I can set rendering resolution in oculus app. That does look much sharper but my GPU can't cope, was down to 35ish FPS in Riften just now.
I've been running at 1.1 there, but will see what I can get away with, maybe higher res. but lower bitrate in the debug tool

Hey.Hey Andy, have you any other setting changed in the debug tool?
What I would do first, is put the Steam Super Sampling down to 100% for the moment. Then turn the render resolution up to max in the Oculus app. See how the game looks and runs then. If runs good, then you can raise the super sampling in Steam until the performance drops too far for you.
Hey.
Only thing I’ve played with in Debug Tool is the sampling rate, from the default of 0 to 400, and recently 500.
In main Oculus app I have refresh set to 80Hz, and rendering now 1.2. This is with steam SS at default 100%.
Also there is an in game SS which the mod install instructions said to set to minimum. I have though upped that a little too.
With my current setting of 1.2 I’ve not seen much more than 85% GPU usage so I may experiment with 1.3.
I can also up the power limit for my 3090FE in MSI afterburner...where I’ve not bothered overclocking my GPU before.
Close up stuff looks amazing though and I just stop and stare at the textures and shiny looking surfaces sometimes
Thanks Melmac. Weird but my oculus app only allows me to set 1.4 (5408 x 2736).
I’ll grab that sharper eye mod too cheers
Recently tried Eleven Table Tennis at 120hz and I don't know why but I think I prefer it a 90Hz.
Back playing Pistol Whip again. Started back playing a couple of weeks ago when a notification popped up about @RockSteddy beating my score.
It's still a fantastic game. But, I have one, well two small problems with it. They are kind of linked. The First problem is that after nearly 20 years of playing Counter Strike, I shoot on sight. And in a game where it's about keeping a beat too, this doesn't work too well.
