What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

yeah , that would be cool
still got my sidewinder though, and not much credit ...

The rewards for teaming up are massively greater. I have a bunch of ships including a Type 9 freighter and a Python both of which can take massive cargoes, and be multicrewed. I could even install a fighter bay for your sidewinder in case we get attacked.

Shi, want to team up in Elite? Would be cool to meet in that universe, and would give me an excuse to get back into it.

That does sound cool guys. I have never got into Elite at all. It would so much better to explore with you guys.

Shame my PC is broken at the moment, still waiting for my RMA to come through on my GPU.

sounds like fun :)

but lol my sidewinder is the basic ship with basic weapons

im saving up over 1 million to get a Cobra MK 3 kitted out a bit

When I was starting out some friends helped me by squadding up and doing trade missions together. That gave me enough money to progressively upgrade my ship and make more money.

It's a pity they nerfed mining, as it's a fun mechanic and used to be very lucrative.

I'll def grab this at some point.

Nabbed it myself after reading through the comments about the graphical prowess. I was amazed to see that virtual mike gave it a glowing appraisal too, some of the assets looked super grounded VR quality in his video.

Myself a wow moment in Big Screen. So before i watch something from my ubber list i check the public rooms to see if there's anything interesting, i see shadow of the tomb raider, half asleep i think it's one of the films. The wow moment came when it twigged 30 seconds in that somebody was playing the game in 3D, it looked so incredibly real, the cutscenes, action sequences, just amazing.

I've played Rise in 3D in the HMD before, it's nothing in comparison to watching it being played on a cinema screen in 3D twice over. 6 years in VR still finding things that blow me away.

Actually, no I haven't, thanks for reminding me.:) I'll go check them out.

Belomorskaya Station was short but genuinely terrifying.

Make sure you download all 8 parts of Return to Rapture in the workshop. It really makes me itch for a proper VR version of Bioshock, it would be tremendous.

Part 2 is a total gamechanger, not only for Bioshock and rapture but for Alyx mods period.

Another one coming in the summer looks totally ace: From Here To There.

This is definitely something I'll play once I've finished Lone Echo 2! Looks fantastic and really makes me want a full on official bioshock vr game

Looking forward to both of these especially Return To Rapture part 2 which is out early February and will be 25 maps (30GB).

2 hours with Wanderer earlier.

Quality, the fine detail around the opening set in Boston is up there with HL. Everything is virtually the same in the ruined buildings, the graffiti, art deco posters, and all the items you can freely toss about. Unreal engine always looks the bomb maxed on my G2, but it's implementation with Wanderer is a step up from Saint And Sinners in terms of graphical fidelity, everything seems to have a finer detail to it.

Solid production values, the opening ride in the motor boat acts as an introduction HL train ride esc. Everything immediately tells you you're in a ground up built for VR game, you grab the flare gun, load the cartridge, fire the gun. On the trip over to the apartment hub you come across a few more VR mechanics, the only disappointment was the press A to jump ledges and scale through windows, they've employed the HL Alyx magic leap, not a fan.

Like the wrist device, neat and handy, and love the way you can launch it to do thy bidding. The few puzzles experienced beyond the standard fare, the torch and the stargazer is a real neat VR only standout.

Might seem pricey at £30, but it's certainly had that kind of effort put in to the production to more than justify the cost. If you appreciate slow figure it out puzzlers in one of the best settings VR has to offer, then it's a solid recommend.
