What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

Anyone recommend takes from the galaxies edge ?
Understand it's Quest stand alone only.

Mixed reviews but heard the DLC is decent. Though don't particularly want to go through the entire game just for DLC if the main thing is a drag.

How are the graphics? Tempted to use my 30% voucher

When first released it was a bit "meh" , as the gameplay was fairly limited and it had a few issues.
With the expansion it's massively improved, they've added some really great missions and collectibles to hunt for, and improved a load of the mechanics and options.

Graphics are pretty good for a native game, though of course it does have that low-resolution texture look in places that you get on Quest games. It isn't as good looking as RE4, but then not many games are!

But it feels like a proper game now. I'd recommend it if you like Star Wars.

Ok so the expansion retrospectively adds to the game from the start ? I'm not sure if I've got the patience for the first part of the game if it's dull.

Done with Demeo for a bit. The more i started to understand the cards, the easier it became enabling me to beat it. Quite underwhelmed with the 3rd level with it's size and difficulty compared to the previous levels. Although i had a phalanx of fire cannons helping me out, had charmed most of his mob and had him swimming in poison, the big bad went down rather easy. I'm guessing the furthering chapters increase in difficulty, so i'll head back and take it online when they add the new lobby.

Also discovered just how good Battlezone is this past week, and finally getting under par in Golf It's Grasslands was a triumph.

Not playing yet, but, will be soon. The Star Wars game.

Tales from the Galaxy's Edge.

Bought it because I had an Oculus30 code to use and the reviews are so much better after the DLC was added.

Been playing an old favourite msfs in the aero, the clarity gives it new life, just bought a buttkicker gamer 2 to go with it and racing games. Recently played automobilista 2 for the 1st time it looks great in vr and plays well too, shame the multiplayer is so deserted.

Only just started Resi Evil 4 Vr as my first time through the game! Really impressed at the vr port despite some cutscenes being only watchable on a screen. Great time so far!

I've played through RE4 on Gamecube and Wii, but the VR port is astonishingly good. It probably has the best graphics seen on the Quest to date, and the VR mechanics are very well done. I hope we get more ports of this quality.

4 months away from American Truck is just far too long.

Jumping back on the open road is just a joy, more so when you hit that sweet spot of 5am riding in the right place. 5am hitting up interstate 70 heading toward the Eisenhower tunnel with 181's 80's lite soothing ones ears, not many more pleasing experiences in VR than that.

After a couple of weeks playing ACC on the index, taking it back to the highest ebb on the G2 reignites the passion.

Yeah incredibly impressed actually! Maybe more classic and beloved games getting this quality treatment on a relatively affordable headset will entice more people to come in to vr! Although seems like it's already doing well as is! Excited for more great ports on the psvr 2 as I can see Sony pushing that!

Vox Machine, don't know how I missed this one. Apparently it's been out on the pc for a while but it's just come to quest standalone.

Had a bash at the campaign via. Link last night and was impressed, the sections in the home base are a bit tedious but the gameplay makes up for it.

Had a dabble on multiplayer on the standalone this morning and was really surprised by how well it held up.

Been out for ages in pc and I never got it but kept being interested but now with the campaign mode that might be the kick I needed!

Walk about Golf is currently my go to VR Game ! Hooked up to my PC on the Quest 2 it looks fantastic with the settings maxed out.... Then my 2nd Game is Bigscreen - If you want to Watch all the latest movies Free with other people or setup a War debate with 15 other people then its the place to hang out , You Stream your desktop to the Cinema rooms and people can chat and chill and watch movies and Football ect. spent the most time on this app over the past month since owning the quest 2 and made loads of friends all over the world.

Bigscreen goes toe to toe with Competizione for the no1 usage slot. Sat in and watched Real Genius for the first time in 30 odd years last week, a bunch of wise cracking americans around my age made it all the more fun.

With Vox machinae getting updated, it reminded me to play Mechwarrior 5 some more. While it might lack the finesse of a motion controlled cockpit, the game as a complete experience and a HOTAS more than makes up the distance. American Truck finally went online is week too, convoys are amazing fun and incredibly immersive with the CB chatter. The people are friendly and super in to it, 100% recommended.

Crashland at the moment after picking it up in a bundle with Cosmodread (its next) enjoying it so far, tricky though!! Im concerned for the life of my trigger button.
