What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

Getting deeper with Into the Radius, really liking it and can't wait to see what the sequel will be like. Open World in VR is a big win for me.

I've been putting a good few hours into Assetto Corsa. For an 11yr old game it's truly amazing in VR with the mods. Graphics are superb
Running content manager, custom shader patch and pure weather/lighting.
The weather effects with pure are great, rain on the windscreen is quality.
Handling , physics all top notch.

Yes why not come and join us, we play exclusively in VR, and mainly AMS2 not assetto corsa, but all very simliar.

Given your forum name, you can borrow my custom livery :)

Just finished Half Life: Alyx (yay) and just finished Half Life: Alyx (boo). What a great game. I need more of that type of game in my life!
Played Lone Echo 1 & 2? Resident Evil 4 VR?
Half Life 2 now has a VR mod, Doom 3 has VR mods, and so do the resident evil remakes and RE4 and RE7.
Also Skyrim can be modded to have HL Alyx gravity gloves, as well as zillions of other mods.

There are also ome exceptional Alyx workshop mods, some of which are like full games in their own right, (8-12 hours playtime!.. well for me anyway.. :) ) I'm currently playing through Zheptics, which is good but much harder than the normal game even on normal mode .. There are loads of others.. google is your friend :)

I've got Resident Evil 4, which I was enjoying (before the cabin fight which I had to use a mod to get past), but stopped playing when you have to switch to the girl 'cos I kept getting caught and got fed up of it. I haven't played either Lone Echo game but from a quick search it looks like I need the Oculus software for that which doesn't work on Linux (I use ALVR for PCVR). I might take a punt on Half Life 2 with the VR mod. I am limiting myself to games that have teleport so I don't have to worry about motion sickness. I might add Skyrim to my wishlist and look for a sale, but wouldn't pay £50 for a game.

I did see the Alyx workshop yesterday but have never really played around with workshop mods and didn't want to be disappointed after thoroughly enjoying the main game. Alyx too me 20 hours to complete 'cos I'm a big girl's blouse! :)

You very much won't be dissapointed if you only get the recommended workshop mods. As I said I enjoyed some of them as much as the main game, and i've played the main game though at least 3 times already.

Plus what have you got to lose, just download and give one a try.. if you don't like.. uninstall.. and try another they are free.. (which I find amazing btw!!)

I've got that actually and, according to Steam, I've played it for 28 whole minutes :)

Did you not like it? I found in the beginning I was a little like meh, especially with the black shadow type enemies. But once I started getting money and decent guns it became more fun. I do miss human enemies though.

I can't remember actually. I do have a vague recollection of playing it and the quality being quite grainy, and I was certainly on an earlier version of ALVR then so that may have been an attributing factor. If I'm remembering the game correctly that's the one where they basically want you to play in a group but you can have 3 AI people to make up the team if you want to solo? I probably also got distracted playing something else (happens a lot :)). I will reinstall it and have another go.

Just finished the new expedition in No Mans Sky in VR. It's still a janky experience with some weird controls, and requires a decent rig to power through the performance limitations but it's a great experience. Wonderful sense of scale.

Into the Radius is a solo journey, so I think it may be a different game you are thinking about - I'm interested to know what it is though!

Just looking through my Steam library and I think I may have been referring to After the Fall. Solo (with 3 AI) or 4 player multiplayer. It's from the same people that made Arizona Sunshine, which I also thoroughly enjoyed :).
