What was your first Smartphone?

I'm actually sad enough I can mostly remember my entire phone history....

Started with the Nokia 5110/Nk402 > Siemens C35 > Nokia 3330 > Sagem MY G5 > A random NEC I can't find online > Nokia N-Gage > Nokia 7600 > Samsung D500 > Sony Ericson W610i > Sony Ericson W960i > iPhone 3G > 4 > 5 > 6 > 7+ > X > XS Max > 11 Pro Max > 13 Pro > 14 Pro

Notable phones and moments for me...

Getting 1000+ score on Snake 2 on the 3330 and not getting my free '£10 credit from Orange'.
Playing THPS, Flow-rider, Pandemonium and Fifa on my N-gage in school with a few friends.
Selling my N-Gage to a friend in school and buying a second hand 7600 on ebay for it to be delivered full up with 'Happy Slap' videos
Nagging and nagging forever for the D500. This phone blew my mind. It came with a little plug in speaker to be extra obnoxious with music but the best bit was it recorded video in a huge 1.3 megapixels. We used to film our skate videos on this device.
The W610i and W960i were amazing due to having a MP3, Phone and Camera all in one device and everything work well.
Then once I got the iPhone, it was blast off!

It was terrible. Slow, unresponsive and crashed XP often when docked!

The story of how the original Orange SPV was made is wild. A small British company was making the first Windows phone but Microsoft screwed them over and gave all of their work to HTC.

The British company sued and Microsoft settled out of court.

LG one can't remember the model number bought around 2011 it was terrible didnt have it long ,the first decent one was the Sony Xperia T James Bond model, looking at the specs now wow it had a 4.6-inch high-definition screen :) the camera was decent though still have it in my desk drawer. had the Xperia PLAY prior to that one novel phone but peformance was poor.

after the t model had
Sony Xperia Z3
Moto g6 plus
Moto g8 plus

I think my first "smart phone" would have been the XDA Mini... I had a blackberry (no touchscreen, but an amazing physical keyboard) but I think it was probably after this

Do blackberrys count ? I had a 8900 I think it was, surpirsed many more poeple didnt havethem, all sorts of small screen Nokias before that, and a Samsung Galaxy s3 after.

I had so many phones before the Google/iPhone era began.

One of those Sony Ericson P series was probably my first semi-smart phone. I got rid of it for some silver clamshell thing that cost 300 notes in the mid 2000s. It had a colour screen inside and a smaller one on the outside (back when colour screens were new tech obv). That got ditched for an n95 I think. The N95 always stuck in my head because I took it down the local market to get it unlocked and when I got home I found they took my brand new battery out and put an old one in it.

Stand out phones had to be the original Moto Razr, 3310 (obv) and the N95 for being the first phone (I had) to have a battery that would only last a day.

First proper touch screen was a Sony of some description I think or faint memories of something with an Orange brand on it...? Since then had various Galaxy S/Note models and the odd Redmi when I was feeling cheap.

Nokia 3330 > Sony Ericsson W810 (if you consider these smartphones) > Nokia N95 > iPhone 1 > iPhone 3gs > iPhone 5 > Galaxy S6 > iPhone 7 -> iPhone SE 2020.

I saw the first phone I had (Bosch 509e) in a history museum the other day, does that mean I'm getting old?

Next phone will be in 3-4 years time.
