Very nice indeed Congrats and wear in good health.Picked this up last week, it wears up and down surprisingly well. I'm smitten.
Looking at a no date Submariner or a Green bezel date Sub for next year.

LOL, i think that was on I got free with a PC many years ago, it's grim. A good keyboard would be wasted on me!That's lovely, congrats.
And we've learned that you spend money on watches, not keyboards
That looks great, want to pull the trigger on this. How are the links, I have seen some people moaning about them?Still my favourite watch from the collection. Had to go in for a repair recently and was without it for 6 weeks or so, which I didn't enjoy. Happy to have it back.
Seiko, SRPJ45K1:
Looks like the standard 5 sports bracelet, I've had a few. Endlinks are hollow but fit OK. Bracelet links are solid, use split pins and articulate 90 degrees. The clasps are basic but functional- pressed scissor and outer and 4 microadjust holes. They're not fancy, but I've always found them perfectly serviceable, well enough finished to be comfortable and weighty enough to balance the watch head. I think they're fine. Easily upgradeable anyway- don't let it put you off the watch. That looks great, want to pull the trigger on this. How are the links, I have seen some people moaning about them?
Looks nice, been looking at some seiko mods myselfThe custom watch haven seiko finally arrived(I say finally only because I missed the delivery last week):

Must........ resist........Have you seen the deals on H Samuel? I think you can get it for less than £200 at the moment which is a steal.
I'd send it to SwissTime in Essex and get it serviced first. A non-runner will just fill people with fear that it is a write-off.Hi. I am not really a watch wearer and have inherited a OMEGA seamster planet ocean 600m watch. It is too big for me to wear and it doesn't have a large sentimental value for me. I have the 3 ID cards that come with it but no box. It is not running but not surprising as it has not been worn for a number of years. Are there companies that buy these watches? I don't know enough about them for a private sale and in truth if I keep it it will sit in a box and never see the light if day. Is it worth me getting it serviced first?
Thanks for any help.
Ah yeah it is kinetic.Ok, I feel daft now. I watched a video and didn't realise it could be would and was kinetic....it is running fine!
I thought I had a watch collecting problem............Very cool!I've started wearing this Valjoux 7750 powered Victorinox chronograph recently, I bought it from Facebook Marketplace a few years ago..
I've been collecting watches since I was sixteen (Grandpa was a wath repairer), i'm now sixty six so it's fifty years now!!
Some of my others, Seiko are my faves!
Some more of them..
