What watch do you wear?

PO I got for my birthday last year, still very happy with it, but considering something less chunky for every day use. I love this watch but it does leave a hell of a mark on my hand after the working week, takes all weekend for the mark to fade :(

I'd still keep the PO though, don't think I'd ever sell it

It's a Seiko SKX031 and discontinued about 3 years ago. There's was also a Pepsi version (blue/red) SKX033. If you like that consider a SKX007, which is a brilliant introduction to an automatic Seiko for about £120.

I don't like that bracelet on that one but the other SKX007s look nice. What is the difference between these two?

Also like the look of this other Seiko which I have seen in H Samuel for £299. So this site appears to be quite a bit cheaper. Has anyone dealt with Creation Watches before?

Just a variation in the bracelet I think, folded vs solid links. Solid is better. The Oyster is a much better bracelet to get.

I don't think I'd ever recommend buying a Seiko from a Jeweller in the UK. You will pay way over the odds. For instance, last time I bought a SKX007 it was $155 (£95) delivered from a well known dealer, Jake B.

The best option is to get the SKX007 on rubber and buy the improved Super Oyster II from wjean (another well known dealer) on ebay. The Super Oyster is easily the best of its kind.

That's a Kinetic, had one of those as well. Different to the Auto, still a nice watch and it's quite a big lump. Creation watches are a well know and reliable seller in the watch community.

There's a massive Seiko community and the 007/009 is one of the most modded.

don't forget that you might get stung for VAT + handling + duty if you buy from creationwatches?
(I'm assuming they don't post from UK...)

You have it way too tight. Add a link back in. Or lose weight

I'll probably go with the combo you suggested. Cheers.
There's a guy on one of the watch forums I frequent selling a mint 007 for £105 inc. You could register (great site anyway) and give him a PM, you won't be able to see the sale thread without 50 posts. But he has plenty of good seller feedback. http://forum.tz-uk.com/member.php?2146-Stefan-Tapp

I've had this watch for five years http://www.gemday.com/pic2/av0031-59a_feature.jpg

Really nice watch, I wouldn't mind something new though.

Can anyone show me something similar? The styling of Seiko/Omega watches appeals to me.

Thanks

Oh and <= £200 would be good but up to <= £300 would be ok too.
Quartz Chronograph, apart from the Eco-drive Citizens & Seikos. Which are fine. but maybe a Tissot?

£200 on ebay in uk > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-T-S-S...-1-586-52-RRP-295-/170878531542#ht_4718wt_802

I've bought about 5 watches from creation and never got hit by it. Of course it's a possibility but even after those charges it's probably still cheaper!

Always had top quality service from them, singapore->my door in 3 days
