Is it quartz? Its a Patek Rose Gold Nautilus worth around $50,000. Its not quartz no.

I've never been a nautilus fan. It still looks seventies rather than timeless like I think a good watch should.

You have to love Patek though. They earned their place as probably the best in the business.

I can't remember the last time I read an Eyedot post. I think he'd sold a TVR and bought a Porsche.

But it looks... dare I say it... a tad ugly. And I thought that straight away when I had no idea which watch it was or what it was worth. Certainly not an elegant, classic or timeless design like a Rolex Sub or Oyster. I'm not saying it has to be any of those qualities to like it, just like modern art, but still...

Got to say, that Nautilus watch is damn ugly. Wouldn't get one even if i could afford it. Give me an Omega anyday.
