What watch do you wear?

Anything in the £5 range will be of similar quality, the eBay ones in particular and Amazon unbranded ones. They will fray at the holes over time so I'd recommend sticking with the big names for Nato like Maratac. Costs a bit more but you get a strap that lasts as long as a watch.

I've posted mine a while back here, both Zulu and Maratac (of which Zulu is a model lineup).

Forgive me, for it's only my opinion, but some of these shiny silver watches on the "alternative" stripey nylon straps look absolute bobbins.

Fair enough, depends on the watch and strap choice though above all else.

It's not about it looking a certain way for most or a style thing either. A good quality nato strap is more comfortable than a leather buckle or bracelet one. That and the added safety in the rare event a spring bar breaks the watch stays put.

Really it's a case of some will like the look and some won't but once you try a decent one on it's obvious which one wears more comfortably, generally anyway.

In terms of comfort I find that steel > leather > nylon. It really all is very subjective.

That's a pretty good vid, I have 9300 movement in one of my Omega's and the other runs the 8507. :)
