What watch do you wear?

£10,000 watch that anyone else with £10,000 can buy in any part of the world has neither the exclusivity, nor a limiting factor other than money. So if I am paying something that costs a lot more than another product that does the same thing I judge it with other criteria.

This is something I've never really thought about when buying a watch, but its a pretty good point.

This just arrived in place of my Rolex Explorer 2, its stunning but may not stay very long as it is massively thick at 20mm so a little bigger than i like. Its the titanium Planet Ocean chrono 9300 with liquid metal dial and bezel

Cyrus thats a nice watch there, i like that and im not a huge fan of Omega myself. Probably due to the fact that its titanium as i like titanium myself.

Have a titanium Breitling for the past 10 yrs or so, good watch but easily prone to dents and scratches though :/

nice watch, and a nice price over at TZ ;)

but your correct of course, its a little big for you

I just didn't like the feel of the titanium PO. It's the weight. I know it's retarded, but because it was so light it felt odd.

Yesterday having a play:

I do like open case backs.

Good choice; I had the 8500 Ti model. I suggest you get the rubber strap, it makes it even more comfortable.

I wear this, it took me ages to find the vision I had in my head :p

I had to import it from German as it is the only watch I like of this style.

I looked at Christopher Ward and to me they were all horrible. I am proper chuffed with this:

It is a brown strap with a tan stitching; my phone camera is rubbish.

What do people think of either of these:

And

I'm really liking the PVD and the clasp looks good too with the glide-lock style button activated extension/adjustment.

The movement is quite new (2009) and seems to have very positive reviews.

Price does seem a little high (although for the specs it's £570~ so maybe not too pricey either way) but limited to 150 pieces...

Very nice indeed, especially orange detail on PVD. Go for it. Oh, wait...

I wanted one nice proper watch by the end of all this, I think that will do me for quite some time.

Does a period of 4 months qualify as "quite some time"? :D

If you check back my last few posts you will see I did say if I added a watch in a year or so it may well be a Lum-Tec having seen my friend's one posted earlier ;)

The Longines is staying :)

PVD is good until you knock it on something. After a few months the edges get worn down and it has a used look, which is fine if thats what you want, but I'm not a fan. I have a Bell & Ross that's PVD coated and I really don't like it.
DLC coating is what you want for a durable long lasting finish.
