Booo!

My old and trusty Casio Wave Ceptor has bitten the dust. It stopped, went to get it a new battery and apparently it no longer works :(

I've ordered some batteries just in case the guy in the shop was having a bad day but it looks like I'll need a new watch!

I liked my wave ceptor though! Basic, plain to look at and always accurate! I think I paid about 35 quid for it ~10 years ago. Since then prices appear to have gone shooting up and become hideously complex for no obvious reason - DO NOT WANT! :(

What I want is as close to what I had before:

It's basic, cheap, will take abuse at work. Not fussed for materials or extra dials on the face and ideally like to keep it under £100.

Any suggestions?

I'd love to have a nice watch, but computer and car stuff is so expensive, I can't justify it!

My watch collection consists of a £20 Timex, and a £3 Chinese LED/bracelet thing.

New watch (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0058ZAMAA/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) arrived.

It's nice, but 2 things. There is a small mark on the actual face, under the glass. Not THAT noticeable but enough to annoy me I think. Also, it's bulkier than anticipated so now thinking of sending back.

So I guess the hunt is back on for another watch, really want a skeleton watch. Quite fancy this one:

If that stock photo is anything to go by on the Rotary then it doesn't look very well made, look at the Roman numerals, the paint isn't even applied properly on some digits!

Just get a single quality watch and be done with it :p Believe me, Been through that phase over the last 18 months!

Kenneth Cole do pretty good skeleton watches.

Also consider open heart watches, some look really nice:
