Shame aftermarket curved leather straps are hit and miss with how they fit. I remember the Hirsch one I got ages ago was too tight for the Bambino. Would love a curved ended one to add to the rotation.

The screen looks broken at the bottom. :D

Bit of a comparison with a blue wavy faced Seamaster:

Have also only just realized the owner had the date set incorrectly :p

Liked the Seamaster, but was happy to hand it back and keep my Sub.

The ceramic bezel, numbers, lume, face and glass on the newer Seamasters look so much better than the above model.

I know what you mean about the date, but I think I could go without it easy enough.

Loving the blue model personally, but don't think I could go for one of the rose-gold ones.

The new version that you have is stunning, I'm a big fan of the skeleton hands (I know some people aren't) and if I ever get bored of the Sub one of them may find its way onto my wrist...

Opinion still divided :o Still not a fan of any Seamaster! As always I appreciate what they are and offer but the look just doesn't work for me.

I can't be bothered with faffing with a date window either, if I had a choice I'd opt for no date every time. Can't remember the last time I needed to check the date.

Gonna check out a certain Sub tomorrow :p

Gotta say I thought I'd alway want a date display, but unless it has an easier way to amend it for every month (pushbutton or perpetual calendar) without 31 days I'm not fussed about having date on my next watch.

I do like that new Seamaster though.

Hey guys,

Wondered if anyone had experience of (or likes the look/spec of) Griffin Emblem watches - Website

Apparently use Miyota 82S0 and 82S5 movements.

Just spotted that there's a campaign page with better prices than the main site - HERE
Just an update of the above...

After a bit more research I discovered that despite giving the impression these were 'Made in France' the actual construction and packing is done in Hong Kong courtesy of the designers business partner meaning some import costs may apply.

Having a date is a pain, as I don't always wear the same watch.
