Whats the problem with that anyway? I mean, adverts are mean to look good, and will show a handsome blocky with a nice watch with a plump blond alongside blah blah, OR the same guy in his car, OR the same guy in some 'wilderness doing stuff'.
I know many who take pictures of their watches try to have a bit of a 'background' to them, for the same reason; put them into a setting. I know I do.

My Dad has been playing around making his own watches this year purely for a bit of a hobby. For Christmas he gave me this on that he had made. All hand made except the bracelet and movement. I think I'll probably put it on a leather strap so would like any recommendations. I'll get some proper photos later

I don't really see the point. Surely it just makes you feel silly if anyone ever asks about it and you have to say oh it's fake.
Plenty of decent enough cheaper watches if you don't want an Omega.
I've just got rid of my regular GMTc to try and buy a BLNR, failing that a Hulk but i'm having a lot of trouble finding one at a dealer. I didn't think they would be that scarce.
I don't fancy paying 1k+ over list. I'm going to be heading to Dubai, Singapore, HK and Japan in the next couple of weeks... likelihood of getting one? I was in Dubai Airport a couple of weeks ago and they said they hadn't had either for months!

You will probably find one in HK given the number of shops. The problem is finding it without a lot of calls. There are 40 auto dealers there just for starters lol. Maybe Chrono24. The other problem is exchange rate and card costs will add up seriously.
You know hacket watches have one now right?

I've always been set on a Tag Heuer for the first high end watch I purchase but partly due to the photographs in this thread and some window shopping I'm becoming more and more swayed by the Omega Seamasters. They really are stunning.
Have Omega prices increases over past few years? I recall being able to pick up a Seamaster 3-4 years a go for 2k, 4K now? Unless I've got it wrong.
