What's an emo?

Where did I say emo's hate the world?

Emo's hate themselves and this is a genric fact. Emo's wouldn't be where they are if we didn't hate them too. This is strange that the argument was spawned from a debate about what scene kiddies are.

Get back to me when you've grown out of it Neon. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

im not big headed im saying how it is. and yeh "im out there in the scene" means i socialise with these type of people. there not drawn to me, so shut up on that, im not a rockstar i play in 2 bands? and there not massive at all.. there known of around where we are but thats it.

i can see them on other peoples perspective but i dont understand why you chose to hate them so much? its pointless.... they wouldnt think it of you.

grown out of what? its been like years and years now and im still the same, im just more open minded and dress slightly different to how i use to but im happy? so grow out of what... explain?

emos dont hate themselves (the odd one or two might) but weve all hated ourselves at some point.

Look mate, stop getting arsey. I'd pick an emo over a chav anyday. We're just explaining what your little scene really is from an outsiders point of view. If you don't like it, then it's tough titty.

Have you not realised you're the only one defending your point of view? It's not exactly as if everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon here.

Id say the same about emos. Except replace violence with mind numbingly painful 'life sucks' statements.

yeh yeh thats cool, its just i cant stand to see people drag other people down when they havent done much or done anything to disturb you, or hurt you.

thats all. i just like these type of people, not all of them, some are complete fools, ive met a few of them type, but most are down to earth.

I've never hated myself. I've disliked myself, but that's different - I was being bullied at school. Oh guess what, I grew out of it. I'm happy with the person I am today and I love life. Maybe this is why I look on little scene kiddies with such destain.

not really, they dont walk up to you and say "my life sucks" or whatever, they dont throw abuse they dont shout and cause trouble.

people starting violence for no reason and for fun, is a **** take.

ive recently disliked myself, maybe hated but thats my own fault for something i did, but yeh i didnt hate myself for weeks a day or two maybe :rolleyes:

and i love my life, wahey!! i think? lol

yeh but a lot do love themselves and the way they are. i suppose its the same with everyone at the end of the day its a different dress sense, and music taste, thats all it is.

ive had chavs come up to me and say "what the **** you looking at?" and many other quotes. thats what im getting at.

they dont keep themselves to themselves, they have to start something.

But is that not my point? YOU have had experience with chavs that make you hate them. 'WE' have had experience with Emos and scene kids that make us think there a bunch of lonely 'my life sucks, slit slit slit' losers.

Look, emo's annoy me because they're all generic pawns conforming to the same stereotype. They think they're individuals, but they're all the same. Why is dressing your own way and not the way of the rest of the generation such a crime?

Look mate, the majority of emo's in my book atm are all 15-16 and that's a very impressionable age. It just goes to show, emo's are misguided teenagers. It's a phase, and a stupid one at that. You, and the rest of the emo population will grow out of it in time, especially when your hormones level out.

right now im wearing a white tshirt? a sweat band by nike :) and some camo shorts.

thats not any style!! is it?

im not emo, im into metal, and most days i dress metal...but thats just how i am, and i wont grow out of it i really wont.

i listen to any music and style. im a drummer i use to be in funk band, and hip-hop band, my drumming went over to metal, but guess what im still a hip hop drummer.. in a metal band... so i dont think i will grow out of it.
