What's an emo?

Not a case of what's normal, it's a case of who looks ******* ridiculous. Emo's are incredibly pathetic, why wear skin tight jeans and have a side fringe thing. Bah, damn you emos! And whoever said Emos are hot they are most certainly wrong, not a single attractive thing about someone who is incredibly miserable and can't look at a camera.

Every generation needs some type of culture to follow when they are teenagers, gives them something to do and laugh about when they are older. The sad thing is when you see a 40 year old emo/goth/chav/boy racer/geek/. Every one at that age needs to be part of something, it's all part of being a teenager or were you guys to busy being "normal" i.e too cool to be any thing when you were actually the "trendies" that everyone didnt really care about?

Id rather be emo than a boy racer or chav, at least I don’t go about making loads of noise, polluting the air with my antics in car parks or go about knifing people.

Critcising people for the way they dress over the internet is pretty pathetic. I'm pretty sure they could care less about what you think.

How are they miserable? It's a dress-sense, not an attitude-sense.

So what he likes sonatica artica so do i. Its not about the type of music u listen to becuase im fond of some types of death metal. The type of music i listen to it doesnt make me dress a certain way or carry a certain image.

I'm sure they could care less, criticising people over the internet doesn't make me pathetic, i've got nothnig better to do ;) I just find Emos incredibly dull people, they cling on to each other, dress like women (At least Trans-Sexuals do it properly) and they just whinge

Agreed, you'll find the odd hot emo only because she's doing the whole emo thing because her friends are :P Never heard the term scene girl however
 
i think what we are all getting at is that girls are hawt!!!!!!! it doesnt matter what they wear! when the clothes come off.......... :D (unless they are under 17 :P )

Apparantly having a side parting means you're emo...
As does liking any screamo...
Oh and so does wearing converse...

I'll tell you what is strange... People who say 'I am emo' are usually little posers that want attention... HAY GUYS LOOK AT MY TIGHT BAND TEE AND JEANS

Emo threads on OcUK are a bad idea, mainly because they become populated by people that just insult, people that have absolutely no ****ing idea what they are talking about, and there's normally about two or three people who actually talk sense throughout the entire thread. They are horrible things to start, and you should be ashamed of yourself!
