Whats been the most disappointing game to you?

CSS - After all the hype about it I expected it to be good. I even forced myself to play it for a week - was actually relieving when I told myself I could put it down and never play with it again.

Another vote for C&C3 here, just couldnt get into it. Huge fan of Generals, and loved Tib'Sun back in the day, so was looking forward to this.
 
stalker - pc - nice gfx game play was a bit poor
halo - xbox - was just all round poor
HL2 - pc - too short
resident evil 4 - poor controls, lame gfx and stupid loading times

Yeah the QW beta was a piece of crap but im still sticking out for the final game. Deleted the beta after playing it once :)
 
Deus Ex invisible war, spent £80 on a new graphics card at the time to get it working and i ended up taking the game back and getting my money back.
 
Definately Deus Ex 2. Stalker wasn't so bad once you get into it - but I don't really like the alternative ending stuff.
 
Oh god where do I start (I must have high standards for games).

HL2 - Hyped to the moon and back, but it's just another shooter with a graphics improvement. Same sad story, "government experiements go wrong, you're the only (or one of the only) survivors" so kill stuff to get out. At least Doom 3 had a damn atmosphere! :o

BF2 - This suffered from the same fate that most of you describe with Unreal 2. It's just missing so much from the first, the most notable being the fun factor. Give me BF1942 + DC + DCX anyday! :D

There are more, but those are the worst two to me.

Uh? Have I made you feel upset? Im not arguing with his oppinion I just stated it's a good game but ea can't support it. I wasn't forcing him to change his oppinion. Need tissues? kleenex do the job. :)

You decided something was crap after playing it once? Believe me, it gets better with replays.

As for disappointments, I'd have to go with BF2142, which was just a repackaged BF2 without any relevance and Far Cry, which was style over substance.

edit: got far cry and crysis confused.

Nah one round was enough, it was like some sort of warped quake in a sort of BF2142 setting. It just doesn't look right having Marines bouncing around.

got it for a tenner, was looking forward to it a lot as the case looked awsome, like a rpg game etc, but its nothing of the sort its in the future, i hate futuristic games unless there good.

i pfer games set in todays time, or a medival game like elder scrolls, i dont like games set in the 60's or anything like that, for example brothers in arms road to hill 30
