What's the best supermarket sausage?

Went to the farmer's market today in Stone. Came away with some great stuff :-

Buffalo burgers
Buffalo sausages
Wild Boar sausages
Grapefruit marmalade
Deluxe Scotch Eggs (Duck egg surrounded by Wild Boar sausage meat) @ £2 a bloody go!

Nah, I don't like pork blasted off a skeleton and mixed with water and the **** they wouldn't even put in cat food.
Stupid up more like.

Farm shop about 3 minutes' drive from our house does some amazing sausages. The Mrs. normally takes the dog a walk up there every week through the fields and collects a couple of portions. Their chilli sausages are absolutely delish, and they give a big bag of dog meat and bones for 50p too.

Will have to pop up there at some time soon and check what else they have to offer -- been too focused on the sausages alone for too long!

The butcher in Inverness won the best sausages in scotland (or maybe uk) a few years ago. they dont even have them on display, you have to go in and specifically ask for those sausages. :D

i like the secret sausages :D

Just bought some of the Debbie & Andrews Harrogate sausages as a couple of people in this thread recommended them.
Will be having some in a sandwich for lunch later.

I've been meaning to buy an electric mincer for a while now, so may get one with a sausage attachment and have a go at making my own at some point.
