Whats Your BMI?

For someone weighing 94 kg who is 187 cm tall:

You have a Body Mass Index of 26.88 . This means that you fall into the overweight range.

My plan this term is to lose about a stone, should be quite easy seen as i will be cooking for my self etc. Even though this says i am overweight, i would say i am obese lol. I have a proper beer gut i.e. when I'm standing up at the pub i can rest a pint on my stomach, i also have humongous legs which makes trousers a tight fit :(

What a load of old horse poo, i am in no way obese.

I did it for my brother too his results were:

For someone weighing 121 kg who is 192 cm tall: You have a Body Mass Index of 32.82 . This means that you fall into the obese range.

He is not obese either...he goes to the gym everyday, plays football twice a week and circuit trains twice a week....he is just absolutely huge.

For someone weighing 69 kg who is 162 cm tall:
You have a Body Mass Index of 26.29 . This means that you fall into the overweight range.

Not bad. But not there yet, my long-term goal is about 60kg which is why I'm setting myself up to begin cycling the 8 miles to work soon!

Given that I was pushing a BMI of 32 in summer 2007, I think I've done well :)

For someone weighing 66 kg who is 184 cm tall: You have a Body Mass Index of 19.49 .

This means that you fall into the normal range.

What's scary is that to be a "normal" BMI i would have to weigh in at no more than 13 stone 11 pounds....i havent weighed that much since i was 14 or so years old.

For someone weighing 65 kg who is 177 cm tall: You have a Body Mass Index of 20.74 . This means that you fall into the normal range.

It's rubbish though because you could get someone exactly the same height who had a far bigger frame than me but a lot less meat on their bones and yet have the same BMI.

i think mine can more easily be expressed as "FAT!"

i prefer to think of it as cuddly :p
i'm working on it in the context of not eating nearly the same amount of **** this year and walking to work/jobcentre/mates house instead of busing :) but as long as i don't get any fatter i can't say i'm bothered much

my scales were wrong

Weight - 73kg (should be 11.5st)
Height - 169cm
BMI - You have a Body Mass Index of 25.55 . This means that you fall into the overweight range

although i can hold my hand up and say im not overweight at all, my waist is 32inch upto my lower part of my ribs and then starts widening and my chest is 38inches, i have pretty large chest and muscly legs, overweight my arse.

Cheers mate :)At 6'8" I think you're a hero, very very few like you about. *feels empathy for banging head more times on more doors than Voltar* I'd not worry too much about your weight at that size (I'm guessing a large build like me to boot?) because most people will eat a baby size amount compared to what a giant man like yourself requires.

Lol @ hero.. Fortunately the door frames are slightly higher in my house :D
But my problem was when I was in my early twenties I would eat like a pig because I was rowing (part of the city squad) and use to race and train regularly. Unfortunately I would eat 6000-7000 calories a day and burn it off. Now I'm 34, and I don't row, although I still workout, I can't eat anywhere near that and get away with it. So I had to train myself to eat less.

I know I'm healthy, but I want to be bigger. I just can't be bothered putting the effort in.

You have a Body Mass Index of 33.69 = fat wastard.. which i knew, but hey, it was 36.8 this time last year so im happy its going down....
