I didn’t try other tariffs but it works great for me as I can plug in the car in the middle of the day and still get the cheap rate, as a bonus everything else I use while the car is charging is cheap as well.EV users - is Octopus Intelligent Go the best option for home tariff? I'm currently on the Octopus tracker tariff.

In other words “the more you charge, the more you save.!”
It's cheap 11.30 to 5.30AM for all usage. If Octopus decides to smart charge outside those hours (mine usually does until 7 or 7.30) then all usage is on the cheap rate, not just car charging. This isn't all the time though is it? Only when Octopus decide the cheap rate to be activated?
I’m using granny charger so fully charging my model 3 battery would take around 24 hours. This isn't all the time though is it? Only when Octopus decide the cheap rate to be activated?
If you are asking about my picture it is 10p for 1.35kWh that I used in 30 minutes.it's probably me being stupid .... but why 10p kWh? our intelligent octopus is always one of 2 prices
around 26p (guessing as I can't remember). or 7.5p. (99% of ours is 7.5p at this time of year thanks to battery hence I dont look at the peak price)

Octopus knows that so they will let me charge using the cheaper rate all day and all night it seems.
For now, I’d fully expect them to change the terms and conditions in time to require a 7kw charger.Damn if I'd known this I could have saved myself a grand and not gone for a wall mounted charger.
I can see that happening if too many people use it that way.For now, I’d fully expect them to change the terms and conditions in time to require a 7kw charger.

ahh got you!. i was miss reading the image - pre coffee. If you are asking about my picture it is 10p for 1.35kWh that I used in 30 minutes.
It is actually 7p per kWh for me.
possibly me being senile..... i remember reading about the day rate being cut (though didnt know it was as generous as 24p) but forgot about the 7p.The email changing the tarriff was pretty clear, suprised you missed it when so active here.
nice...... thankfully i dont worry about peak prices for 9 months of the year, and even in the darkest winter months i still dont use a huge amount of peak power..... which is a good job as just looking at my yearly usage we use a huge amount of electricity, it would cost us a fortune without time of use pricing and home storage (we may hit 5000kwh this year consumption which for a 3 bed semi with Gas heating is "quite" highdeffo, just like most thing people would have spotted it if bad news im lucky as down to 22.78p on peak
fingers crossed they do something you are happy with....... an entire new battery pack would be v nice on a car with 95k miles on the clock.First half of this year we used 5,000 kWh
Of which about 6,000 miles driving I reckon which is ~2,000 kWh?
In other news my I-Pace has now been diagnosed with 2 more faulty cells (modules?) and the Jaguar dealer is going to see if head office will agree to replace the whole pack or buy the car back instead of trying to do more fixes with no guarantee the other cells won't be faulty in a few more months. As the car/battery has done 95,000 miles that would be some result
