When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

Returning? It's been an expensive niche for the last couple of years, imho.
Yes with the GPU inflation, prior to that and looking at all the other components it's actually very affordable for a nice 1080p set up. When I think back to the late 90's early 2000's it was just expensive across the board.

FWIW, I've recently retired. Prior to that, all my PC gear went "through the company", so I didn't really think much about cost. Now, however, I've really begun to question whether PC gaming is worth it. FM8, Diablo 4 and Starfield (plus dozens more) will probably all look and play OK on an XBOX Series X, so if RTX4000 series are bonkers price, I know which way I'll be going. The Series X can be picked up on The Bay for ~£300. That makes you think hard once you are retired, I can tell you. :)

Agreed, I think about it carefully in a household with two people working and no children. Lots of other demands on the money, fun things like decorating!

ETH mining is now unprofitable

Look for a dump of RTX3000 GPUs
Perhaps I'm being unnecessarily cautious but as much as I want a 3xxx card I'm not sure I'd want one that's been flogged to death in someones mining rig.
I'm just hoping the mining offloaders saturate the market enough that the overall price comes down.

Is it advisable to buy of eBay?

I'm thinking all these cards on eBay now have been nuked over the last 2 years mining!
As a gamer if I was going to buy a Nvidia 3000 series from ebay I would look for a LHR version 2 as they are newer than the non-LHR and less likely to have been mined on

It depends, ideally you want to the card in action before buying and check the ball bearings in the fans haven't worn out. Other then the fans the rest of the card should be fine, bear in mind a minier would likely have undervolted the card to save on electricity whereas a typical gamer owned card may have been owned by someone who has overclocked it to a inch of it's life and never cleaned it until it's come up for resale.

When you have zero morals running mining farms, doubt many of them paid the leccie bills either.

Amen to that!
Lucky to have a 3070. Wouldn't touch a mined card with a barge pole.
