When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

"MSRP" is a number that gets advertised when convenient and dropped like a hot turd the moment it's not.

How many launches where "MSRP" existed for half an hour before the specially designated stocks evaporated forever.

And that was when MSRP was a consumer friendly amount. Now the MSRP of every card in the stack is vastly higher, the idea that insanely priced cards will come down to the inflated MSRP isn't great.

You have to just treat like the casino, sometimes you get it right and other times you don't. I'm betting on the new generation, others have gone for the current one, Nvidia store sold out again of the popular SKUs. It's good that we have the choice.

3070,70ti and 60ti FEs still available. At this stage they should just remove the restriction as by now anyone who wanted a gpu has one as it’s not been hard when they’re sitting on shelves unsold.

I really hope no one buys next gen and it would be nice manufacturers squirming and trying to understand why lmao

Refresh the page, all gone. I'm assuming you're looking at the UK/EU page.

You've lost me now. I'm on Nv's store "Out of stock".
I’m part of an alert group. And the links are still live (I’ve just added a 3070 to basket) but don’t know why they’re removing it from the main Nvidia website

NB Also 3080 Oos but everything else in stock when I just navigated to the main website without using alert links.

Sometimes they re-appear in stock as the one order per account limit kicks in so they relist the blocked stock. People will try and buy them even if they already had one of the sku's previously.

Ok that makes sense, I wondered what was going on!

Yeah initially near launch people got multiple sku's. Then when they found a strong way to stop the greed, this made it pot luck if you got one in the basket after the original wave got listed. :D

The day was going so well, 3070 delivered this morning despite only ordering late Wednesday afternoon (believe me, for NI that's good going).
Got home to get it installed and give it a test - 12 pin connector!!
It was GPU only in the box, no cables or such so now I'm stuck.

Buy a connector? Or ask said retailer to send you one or refund you a bit of money?

Yeah I'm checking out connectors now, it seems to be a bit of a minefield. I assume it doesn't make any difference if I get the cable that goes straight from PSU to GPU or the adapter cable for 2x8pin to 12pin?

Go for the branded 12pin cable from the manufacturer of your psu for a clean look.

Don’t bother with the 8pin adapters.

Thanks will do, although to be honest aesthetics are pretty much bottom of my list these days - the joys of getting older :p
It's just annoying more than anything. As I mentioned previously, I haven't purchased a GPU since my 1080 on release so I was totally unaware these 12 pin connectors even existed but, mea culpa for not doing a bit more due diligence on the subject. If I'd known I'd have possibly clarified with the retailer before purchasing or made sure to have one ordered and sitting ready to go!

Personally find the price for a 6800/6900xt to be way to high. For the first time in like ever, the 3080 10gig seems to be the better deal compared to the red alternative here in Denmark, spite it lackluster vram. It's "only" 21% more expensive than what I paid back in the day for a dirt cheap 1080ti near launch(5300DKK). I still find it too expensive considering its bracket and its soon(ish) to be replaced. When the 6800XT launched here in DK, the price for the reference model was 5000DKK, pretty good actually, and today they are still around 50% higher than that. Simply not good enough for a soon to be EOL product IMHO. Goes for both teams.

Wow, Nvidia cards like the 3060ti FE still in stock. Wow never though i'd see the day.
I wonder how long retailers will wait until they reduce the AIB versions to MSRP? It does show how the insatiable demand from miners was distorting this market. I did mine on my GPUs but I won't be selling them, they still have other uses.

Will scalpers rush to buy up next gen stock or will they not bother knowing their margins are going to be so much lower?
