Xbox One for me, probably not at launch though as there is enough to keep me going on the 360 for the time being, especially with GTA V coming in September. Doubt I will get a PS4 as there is not enough games to tempt me that I'm interested in.
 
Adapter for an old headset is just more money on top of what is already needed, they should have included a cheap headset in the box like the 360 just to put people on until the adapter if people would like to use one for old headsets are released or until people purchase a new headset. Kinnect isn't a sufficient replacement for communication and changing the chat port to start with was just another bad move by M$.

Out of curiosity (coming from a Hardcore 360 player) what is making you go with the Xbox One over the PS4?

Mainly the reason I gave, looking at the current game line-ups and exclusives, there's not really anything I would want that is exclusively on the PS4.

Also the added fact of keeping my Gamerscore that I've worked hard for! :D

The same was true with the current-gen, I've never owned a PS3 as there was no game that stood out and made me want to buy one.

Urgh gamerscore mines decent but its nothing that would enter my mind in stopping me make the switch, what exclusives you talking about for the One? because 360 wise there was nothing very good at all IMO, Halo is rubbish, GoW is ok but nothing that would keep me with M$ Forza is good but again nothing that would keep me from switching and thats about it from what i see, maybe Titanfall nextgen looks good but still nothing ground breaking.
 
Forza and Titanfall are swaying it for me. Not a fan of InFamous or Killzone although they both do look impressive.

And Quinnaay Halo is not, and never has been, rubbish.

In fairness neither exclusives have "won" me over, i just believe the PS4 is better value for money and Sony tend to have better exclusives or did last gen. Halo has been dead and buried since Halo 3.

...it's clearly not dead and buried. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean they are suddenly bad.

Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5, Titanfall and Minecraft (I know this may be coming to PS4, but that has not been confirmed yet).

Plus, I like the Kinect and the voice control, I like that I will be able to stream directly on Twitch TV and I like the controller design as it's pretty much the same as the 360.

There's more points swaying me towards the Xbox than the PS4, so it makes sense to choose that.

The stats you provided are based on 71 reviews (Halo Reach the first one i looked at) which means zilch just like my opinion of the game, that said hardly anyone plays them anymore its a fact, they've declined drastically.

Fair enough, the controller is certainly superior even though we dont know how the PS4 pad will feel, but i love my 360 controller, Streaming is on both consoles albeit TwitchTV being better than Ustream, Kinnect big flaw to me but i imagine some people will find it useful. Out of those above games you named i'd only consider Forza and Titanfall anyway. But for you it sounds like the Xbone is the best bet.

Well it still sold ridiculously well, it was critically well received as I've shown (an average review from a selection of the top review sites in the business) Just sounds like you have a bit of a beef against them. They're still brilliant games.

Imagine playing with people that decide to use Kinect as their main comms device - thats got to be worse than using an old BT headset that you already suffer with on the PS3...

Since Halo 3 Halo games have sold over 28 million copies.

I just... Don't even know how you can form that opinion.

Further, Reach was excellent :)
 
Maybe some-one can help, I'm a PC gamer through and through, I only buy consoles for the exclusive titles. I'm pritty much settled on the PS4 it seems the better console by far.

I have a problem though, I love Forza games and the new DeadRising looks pritty amazing to. This alone is swinging me to the Xbox one, all I can see I like on the PS4 release is drive club, and that looks a bit arcady for my liking.
Should I buy an Xbox for 2 games although I want the PS4 console as its more powerful and I preferred the PS3?
