The stats you posted are nonexistent and....

Quite literally absurd...

Since Halo 3 Halo games have sold over 28 million copies.

I just... Don't even know how you can form that opinion.

Further, Reach was excellent :)

It's his opinion on the game, he can form that opinion based on his own likes on the series.

Which, i also agree.

No his opinion is that 'Halo has been dead a buried since Halo 3' which just isn't the case as it's still massively popular.

edit - Anyway this isn't a Halo thread. Moving on, then...

Not sure why everyone is wishing for a bundled headset as the 360 one was just nasty.
To me my logic is that one of the worst things about PSN online was that the voice comms varied both in usage aswell as quality massively.

I look at XBL and to me one of the massive advantages wasnt the features it has at all, but was simply that a headset was thrown in so it pretty much ensured that there was a base line of quality and that voice comms were just used so much more (obviously the quality of what you heard is of debate :p).

Now going to the next gen it does actually seem that that has reversed where now the XO has to rely on Kinect for voice comms will probably mean worse quality when talking/listening to others (Im not saying its going cause lower usage though at all) because unfortunately most wont be like us and invest in decent comms outside what MS provides, while Sony have just copied what MS did so successfully with the X360.

Anyway thats my logic when it comes to how well voice will work on the next gen consoles. I dont see what MS is doing is anything but a disadvantage, especially over a device that costs so little to them...
Maybe some-one can help, I'm a PC gamer through and through, I only buy consoles for the exclusive titles. I'm pritty much settled on the PS4 it seems the better console by far.

I have a problem though, I love Forza games and the new DeadRising looks pritty amazing to. This alone is swinging me to the Xbox one, all I can see I like on the PS4 release is drive club, and that looks a bit arcady for my liking.
Should I buy an Xbox for 2 games although I want the PS4 console as its more powerful and I preferred the PS3?
Wait until Gamescom and TGS and make your decision tbh, no doubt both MS and Sony et al. will give you a better idea what they are looking to do both in launch window and the first year of release...

Looks like EDGE magazine have made up their mind, a pretty bold cover.

Thants entirely upto you, Forza is a really good game and always has been Dead Rising i cant give my 0.02 on but from what i saw at E3 i didnt see one Zombie even go to attack the guy :/. That said open the horizon and look outside of release date titles and into the near future and what devs side with what consoles. Gran Turismo is the equivalent to Forza and they will make a game for the PS4 at some stage im certain. So if you can find games that may interest you on the PS4 as deep down thats the console you want then get that, if you cant wait and really just want those games then go for the Xbox.

I think I'll stick to my choice of PS4 on release and than Xbox later, right now I've got a 360 but I'm literally pulling my hair out because I want to play The Last Of Us but I cannot justify buying a PS3 now which I think is one thing that has affected my decision.

Truth be told unless an incredible exclusive comes along for either console that will ultimately affect the decision but for starters I'll be playing FIFA and COD so not overly fussed about which console. Probably another thing to change my mind is what my friends get but none of them have made their minds up.

Edit: Saying that Don Mattrick has left MS now.. strangely I disliked the guy and now find myself considering Xbox again lol.

Not like EDGE haven't been ignorant before.

They picked Xbox over PS2 & PS3 over Xbox 360. So work that one out...

It would also hold more gravitas for me if we hadn't just seen an Edge 10 plastered all across a Sony Exclusive's advertising campaign.

Meh who cares at the end of the day, the amount of fan boy drivel I've seen plastered across the sites I frequent is shocking, but adults turn into kids during these types of 'console wars''

I was going Xbox One then PS4 then Xbox One then PS4 again. To save myself the hassle and stress about only preferring the controller on the Xbox One at this point and Titanfall (getting on PC though) I'm likely to just buy both now. All the exclusives I want covered, I can tell the idiots to pipe down with true neutrality.

I am of course kidding. It wouldn't hold more gravitas. EDGE hasn't for about the last 7 years.
That alright then, I could understand the potential of buying a lot of reviews, but gamers that have played it dont think those review scores are that far off it seems...

Bizarre thing to say in hindsight really

I'm switching to PlayStation 4 this time. I've been with xbox since the first one, but it's time for a change.

Unlike some, I don't give a monkeys about my gamerscore (I couldn't even tell you what it is!)

And as for Halo...it's good, but it's just a run of the mill shooter to me.

PS4 for me, although won't be buying on release so may change my mind according to popular opinion and / or what my mates have got. I am a sheep. :D

PS4 defo first - xbone once 'moddable' - maybe ;)

I prefer the PS controller tbh and games like Gran Tourismo, MGS (which apparantly is exclusive to the xbone this time - wtf!), drake uncharted etc.

PS4 if I ever do get one, no way on earth I`m forking out 480 for an XBOX ONE with 1 game. 350 is still expensive but at least I could get 3 games to be getting on with

Probably in this order

Wii U (once Wonderful 101 is released), PS4. and I'll get the Xbone when it's £250.
