I disagree and suspect that even 17% would be enough for certain games to drop to 30fps with vsync enabled on the xb1 while happily running at 60fps on the PS4.

More so than PCs, developers squeeze every bit of power out of consoles. A percentage improvement in console world makes a lot more difference than it does on the PC (and there are shed load of folks around here who upgrade for far less than a 17% boost!). There'll be the potential for higher, more stable frame rates in multiplatform games, faster loading times etc, and no reason why PS4 exclusives won't look better than anything on the xb1. Naughty Dog games are going to be stunning.
 
Have seen nothing this morning to change my mind, still firmly set on PS4 for release. Maybe an Xbone in a year or two, after the first price drop.
 
Nor me either, still swapping to PS4. That said im interesting in a new poll. I think after the PS4 gamescom a new poll should be made to see where people now stand.

It had me considering it, but in all honesty as a big FUT fan, Ive been very unimpressed with FIFA 13 so the news just makes me think its a perfect time to skip FIFA 14. Though Im quite weak when it comes to FIFA - if its discounted at launch as normal I might pick it up...

Im also a BIG FUT fan and i stopped FIFA 13 FUT halfway through it was horrific, that said i have high expectations for this one and will be playing it, but the "Legends" thing just seems gimmicky and nothing i wont miss buy switching to the PSN.

PS4 + Fifa will still be cheaper

And looks like it's going to release earlier too.

So I don;t see why it would make anybody change over, however it's great if you were already planning on getting an XB1 and like Fifa.
 
i really enjoyed seeing the poll ps4 numbers go from 4:1 - 5:1 haha

depending on sony's conference later tonight, id really like to see if the poll should be reset or not :)

Do you know how numbers and ratios work?

The previous poll had 590 people buying a PS4 over 67 people buying an Xbox One. That is a ratio of nearly 9:1 in favour of PS4.

The current poll has 523 people buying a PS4 over 123 people buying an Xbox One. That is a ratio of a bit over 4:1.

I think it's safe to say the changes MS have made since E3 have been well received in general, otherwise the ratios would be very similar.

I think he was looking at this thread and what he saw a month ago compared to what he saw today - you are correct in your maths but poor at comprehension :p

Im disappointed how people with differing opinions are being responded to when its your own interpretation you are replying to and not what they actually intended.
