haha

At least 50% more powerful? It won't be even close to that.
You have to pay for it lol, fair bit different.
Pros and cons for me
PS4:
Pros:
more powerful machine
cheaper
headset in box
Cons:
Interface is awful
I dont want to social network EVER, so they can **** off with that.
Pad still looks dubious
Xbox
Pros:
Live service is excellent
Better pad (imo)
Interface is nice (on the 360 anyway, havent seen One's)
Better exclusive games
Cons:
Not as powerful
Cant upgrade hard drive
No headset
Watches you touching yourself
Ive voted PS4 but Im not entirely convinced yet tbh.
The biggest draw for me personally on the PS4 outside of gaming, is the lack of subscription required to use things like netflix. MS want a the X1 to be at the centre of every living room but will continue to charge £40+ each year for that

No you don't. You do NOT pay for Kinect. You pay for Xbox One and it comes with Kinect. It's part of the system.
This is the misconception here. The simple fact is that Xbox One is just more expensive than PS4.
No, you can turn it off. It's a requirement in countries such as Germany that you can completely kill devices and not just have them in a low-power on state. Microsoft have already stated several times that it has multiple states, one of those *is* the low-power state that you mention and that's what Microsoft focused on with their "Xbox On" command, but you can go further and turn it all off.I don't think you can turn it off but you can put it into low power mode iirc.
Which, considering our bodies are parallel, is logical .

Have MS announced if the controller has a built in rechargeable batteries or are they still using AAs / those useless Play and Charge kits?
So the Kinect isn't factored into the price at all for them? So if it came without it you would pay the same price?
