Its too complicated TBH. I’m sorry but it’s just easier with Sony’s idea. You buy a game, and you want to get rid of it. Well do just that, sell it on. Want your friends to play it, erm do that as well, not on your friends or family list for lending games, what list? There is no list for this type of thing for a PS4. You’ve got your PSN friends, but on your list or not, they can play your games.

What MS have done is complicated and caused a bit of a stir.

Oh and Sony saying leave DRM to publishers. Fine, as you don’t have to authenticate single player, and if PS+ doesn’t cover online as its got a pass, again fine. Its simple to understand. You buy a second hand PS4 game, if it needs a pass to play online then simply buy one. If not, then even better, but very least you can play the single player.

Game rentals will be simpler with PS4.

No matter which way you look at it, MS have made a bit of a mistake, either communication or lack of it, or even trying to mask what is basically a draconian way for console gamers to share their games, its still a mistake.

Sony made it simple, hence they have get a better reception.

it is far to complicated. Basically making it not worth it to buy second hand games.

I wonder how many people will preorder/buy the xbox just thinking its exactly the same as the last (especially parents of kids) then find out about all the hoops you have to jump through. I suspect there will be a number of returns!

Will buy both so voted as such but realised after that you meant at launch. In which case PS4 with the xbox one a year later. I enjoy exclusives on both sides (have had 360 since shortly after launch and ps3 since 08) so will definitely end up with both after a year or two.

Its weird, I was slating the giant enemy crab ps3 at launch, but its by far my favourite console of this generation as my needs have changed. Sony have learnt from the past and are offering me what I need in a console, I don't watch TV in my games room so I don't need that feature, there's no room for kinect and I don't play enough games to warrant 450 quid plus a brand new game pricing structure.

PS plus was like a breath of fresh air, Sony all the way for me however times can change....

Will one be able to plug in a mech keyboard and quality sensor mouse for low latency input play? I think that would be a statement of intent as well. I would like the playstation to be a capable gaming machine for e-sports. Support for 120Hz gaming on older titles would be nice.

Not gonna happen. Get a PC.

PS4. Playstation has by far and away the best exclusive content imo -the better price, performance and ability to buy/sell used games treatment are just a bonus for me.

Xbox One for me though I will probably end up with a PS4 as well eventually (prob when Gran Turismo 6 is available). I have a 360 and PS3 and if a game I want is on both platforms I always get the 360 one as I prefer the gamepad and I don't see that changing with the next generation of consoles.
