To be honest would you tell someone handing over potentially £400 odd any different? I wouldn't I'd tell anyone coming in it was 50/50 regardless if one or the other was selling 10-1 or 100-1.

He's hardly likely to tell you that you are about to but this generations sega saturn ;)

yeah you have 20% vat to stick on that dont forget. which brings it up to around £320 and im not sure if there's a import duty to go on that as well which will move it up a bit more.

Hey, we still get a better deal for the PS4 when compared to the US. £80 cheaper than the Xbox One here compared to $100 cheaper in the US :p.

But yeah, VAT adds most of the difference and apparently it's more expensive to trade in the UK compared to the US.

Amazingly I recently found out games consoles dont get duty when reading an article posted on here about the currency differences :eek:

Im getting xbox one first as I want bf4 and I prefer the setup of the xbox pad for fps games then will get the ps4 in the new year when stock picks up after the Christmas rush.
 
Going to buy both but I'm looking forward to getting a PS4 far more than the Xbox One and this is from someone who bought both previous xboxs at launch.

Its contary to the perception that some are trying to put out there that xbox one isnt getting any orders and the PS4 is cleaning up right now. its not saying what final sales will be and its not insulting to either format.

Some people just seem to have an axe to grind even when its not needed.

I dont recall anyone saying the Xbox one wasnt receiving any orders... Would be silly to make such a claim.

Just found your statement regarding your visit to GAME was rather pointless... In my opinion of course.

You want to check all the polls posted around the web, i looked at loads of website and forums on the web today (boring day at work) to get a broader opinion and everyone was in favor on ps4 by like 60/80%.

Obviously its early but Microsoft haven't gotten of to the best of starts and the comments coming from the top guys at Microsoft are not exactly helping them.

It's still a small number in comparison to the gaming market.

Agreed and its early, Microsoft have 5 months to put it right. If any company should be concerned its Nintendo, they really new some new ideas the Wii U is off to a horrible start not only that maybe just maybe people are starting to get bored of the Mario and Zelda games, they need something new.
 
Looks like there is going to supply issues with XB1

That thread is full of people saying their local game shop is receiving a lot more PS4s and XB1s at launch. Looks like the yield issues are hurting the manufacturing, I suspect these are going to be completely sold out fast despite the fact so many more people are picking up PS4
 
I've put in a pre-order for an XB1, not 100% sure I am convinced yet either way will see how everything pans out over the next few months.
