Wow, I expected it to be 10-1 at this stage but thats amazing. There will be a U-turn I'm convinced of it or they will giving it away by June of next year.

I will most likely buy both eventually. But I think PS4 will be my launch purchase. So I voted PS4

With you having a gaming laptop then buying a PS4 makes sense for you, PC and PS4 will offer the best of both, most xbox titles end up on PC anyhow.

While I wont buy next gen at launch I will end up getting the PS4. it just makes the most sense imo. It's aimed at gamers, no always on ****, no silly DRM, no conect malarky & the game list looks better.

Quite a few xbox 360's gone up for sale in members market, I've been keeping my eye out for a cheap 360 to play forza and forza horizon. Might finally get one now it seems, there was hardly any at a decent price this time last week, now there is a good few of them..

Also hearing around the net few are trading their xbox 360's up for deposits towards /credit for a PS4, which is odd as what will they play on until PS4 lauches? guess they want to get top dollar before prices bottom out.

i dont think thats true.

the reason why sony bundled the "other software" option which allowed you to run a limited version of linux was to avoid some sort of tax or duty as it could be sold as a pc rather than a console or something.

well i remember reading that as being one of the reasons why they had it as an option on launch consoles.

could be the law was changed after this though as the ps3 launched quite a while ago now

After hearing from both Sony and Microsoft - There is no way in hell I will be buying the next XBox. The future for me: PS4 + Xbox 360 style playstation controller (Unless the new PS4 controller is a step forward ).

I think that MS counted on the PS4 being £499 and not being able to play used games. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are holding meetings about backing down on the used games policy. Not that will bother me, I'm getting a PS4

It has surprised me the number of very casual FIFA/COD type gamers at work that have instantly mentioned the used game restriction whenever a console conversation has started.

i voted both when the poll first started but everything currently leads to me getting a PS4 only and keeping the PS3 for bedroom use/Bluray player

i hope microsoft sort somthing out as but they seem to of screwed this launch up massivly and make it worse with every announcement.

my only concern is how much the loss is on each console and will hurt Sony.
