PS4 by a country mile, although I thought the MS conference was 10 x better. Unfortunately I couldn't give up playing the new Infamous and as I found out this generation MS are too eager to ditch IP's if they don't sell x million. (Looking at you Alan wake)

The playstation 3 was my first Sony console but tbh what a console it became after it's slow start :) still excited with the last of us and beyond to arrive. My 360 is just sitting there covered in dust :(

Have gone with both, and both are on pre-order. At this moment I don't know what I'll be going for first, but I've got plenty of time to make my mind up and see what games are actually released on day 1.

Knew PS4 would win but wasn't expecting it to be that one sided!

Same here!

I wonder if we need another poll asking "Why would you rather get a PS4 than an XBO?". Surely it is not just used games and online requirements making it so one-sided!

Seriously, don't most of us have our consoles permanently connected to the net anyway?!

And it's not like everyone whinges about Steam not allowing second hand game purchases :p

I'll be getting the Xbox One ONLY if they remove the Kinect as a mandatory requirement.

Will it physically not work if the Kinect is not plugged in?

Wow interesting results. More people want to buy both than just the XBONE.

I will buy neither, regret the ps3 in the long run for gaming (good for blu ray and streaming though) and will just game on retro stuff for a bit.

Painfully i just pre ordered a PS4. Reason for it being so painful, Forza! Love this game and i'm so sad that'll i won't be able to play it.

But MS really messed up, so it's their loss.

I will probably end up buying both like I did with the PS3 and 360. On launch, I will get the PS4 and then the Xbox One later when it is cheaper or because of exclusive titles. I still use my PS3 more than my 360 though.

PS4 jumping ship from 360 as mainly play on the vita these days and think it would compliment it. My only concern is going away from the MS pad style as don't get on with the PS3 pad. Also considering a wii-u if there is a price drop as skipped the wii from the gamecube and have plenty of back catalogue to catch up on.

I know what you mean as the PS3 controller is slightly smaller if you are used to the 360 one. Isn't the PS4 controller slightly bigger than the PS3 one? If it is then it might not be so bad.

I love the Xbox controller, XBL and Forza but the fact I'm having to pay more for something I'll never use is bs, and there is no way Microsoft will backtrack or lower the price pre-release as common sense is clearly out of their grasp. They'll more than likely wait until the PS4 outsells the X1 with ease before having a rethink. Simply put, I just don't know yet and I'm not quite sure if that is a bad thing or not. Probably not.

For me it's more to do with the fact that MS are aligning themselves with big publishers that would like nothing more than to slip a straw into gamers bank accounts. If MS squeezed Sony out of gaming then I could easily see game prices, online cost etc going through the roof and as gamer that's not what I want......

The warning sign was when MS aligned with Sky for the 360. Pay top dollar, for bare bones.

The interview with Dot Matrix, or whatever he's called, on GT suggested they didn't take in to consideration what gamers wanted now but what they might want in the future.
