lucky bugger at having gear tbh.

Wonder if it shrunk his you know whats

Well his balls would have likely have shrunk a bit if he was doing quite heavy cycles, mind you some people are susptable to shirnkage even off quite mild ones because of natural testosterone being shut down. I wonder if they knoew about PCT/HRT back then

Yea heard loads of stories about how much dbol they took in Arnolds day. You'll get plenty of guys are gyms in the U.S taking more drugs than the pros but none of them are at that caliber. a lot of things contribute to size gains, drugs are only a way to enhance protein synthesis and so on. They will not create the muscles from thin air.

I’d have to go for the Vin Diesal physique. Strong, but not too big. I’m probably close to that now after a couple of years of training and eating right. I just want to lose a bit of body fat and increase biceps and traps a bit and I’ll be happy.

That mings a bit tbh. His waist is far too skinny and his hair is terrible :p
Maybe this is a better pic, his waist doesn't look quite as slim here, and the hair rocks, if only I could quiff mine like that, i'd look just like him :)

or cover of flex but naturally

I'd be quite happy with that too, though aren't his neck muscles (are they the deltoids) a little on the large size? Tone those down a little and i'd be happy.

I think you mean his traps (the delts are the actual shoulder muscles). I agree actually, they seem a little over-developed compared to the rest of his physique. But it could just be the angle and the fact that the pic looks post-workout. He was probably pretty pumped.

On that point, what is a good exercise for traps? Are barbell/dumbell shrugs the main exercise or will upper back exercises develop them too?

Aye shrugs are the main exercise for traps but other upper back/shoulder exercises like upright rows will also help spurr some growth there.

Thanks Gordy,

I did wonder if it was the photo angle, because everything else looks rather in proportion. Good physique though.
