Who else hates this guy (Gregg Wallace)?

Do you think he picked on single women?

If they had a partner, I am sure one of them would have stepped up sometime. Who knows, maybe he has been slapped about before, seems to be deserved.

I think the main problem with this is the quantity amount.

Where that may happen to men, it is very rare and when televised in the way you have shown, it could be formally agreed before filming to encourage fun and laughs.

As for women, this is at times a daily occurrence whilst they are trying to go about their normal lives.

Clearly Peter Andre didn’t want any of that, maybe I guess because he’s had his fair share of being groped (or mounted).
AH also said she didn’t realise the cameras were on, so hardly scripted.

Hmm I commented on here he should be given education and not be being cancelled but if these groping claims are true then this imo is a whole new level of wrongness to making sexual comments.

You believe everything that comes out of AH's mouth? Or any TV presenter? I feel for you.

Either way though, the issue comes down to how common it is for women, who does it to women and the difficult situations they might find themselves in, given women are smaller, lighter and less strong as men.
Men have it significantly easier in this topic, if a guy gets touched up its going to be by a significantly weaker female or a gay guy, neither are exactly a threat. You cannot say the same for women.

But Gregg Wallace wasn't going to bush jump that lady on live TV right?

It's either harmless fun, or it's not.

You can't have that it's harmless fun if the fat black lady does it, but not if the white British male does?

I was only explaining the double standards come down to frequency and risk, but cheers for showing you didnt understand that.

To me its not harmless fun.
Its not hard to be considerate and understand the risks the other sex may face in these situations.

Lol it's nothing about the risks.

Gregg Wallace wasn't going to assault her or worse was he? He didn't touch her, this was a possibility poorly worded comment, with no real intent on live TV.

If it had grabbed her in a dark alley I could see your point.

bbc news really cue-ing them up r4today ... rachel taylor labour mp ...
women don't want to see accused sex pests pawing over food on tv.

Just one question…

Given all that’s going on in the world right now how the hell is this the leading headline story on every UK news channel?

Specifically with GW its nothing about risk? How do you know?

Again when I was responding initially covered the double standards, this was speaking outside of TV recordings as well GW stuff was not recorded. Think you missed that context.

That’s an incredibly misogynistic view you’ve got there!

This is a bit like saying "All lives matter" as a counter argument to Black Lives Matter insomuch as it's not an apples to apples comparison.

Or rather the context of the situation is lost when you draw those parallels.

Of course all sexual harassment is wrong and unwanted, but there is a nuance between predatory harassment with intent and bawdy horseplay on TV.

I admit men do have the uphill battle here, especially in the court of public opinion but with good cause. Look at the last umpteen disgraced celebs, vast majority are men.
