Who here eats breakfast?

Basically, as described by the title: Who here eats breakfast?
I'm just wondering because the first time in ages, I actually ate breakfast this morning even though I wasn't hungry. I usually don't eat breakfast because I just can't eat when I wake up unless I've got hungry during the night. If i'm not hungry; it's a struggle.

I've also heard that eating breakfast is a good way to lose weight as it kick-starts your metabalism for the day. Any know if there is any validity to this?

... So, who here eats breakfast, who doesn't and who is the same as me in regards to being one who just can't manage breakfast?
 
I'm the same as you mate.
I end up feeling ill if I eat anything this early in the morning. I can barely drink a glass of Orange Juice.

And I don't got for all this 'eating at the right time' theory. I'm in now doubt it's true, but if one wants to lose weight, one should excercise.
 
Just a cup of coffee, cant manage anything else this early before work.

Normally toast at the weekend though.
 
bowl of cereal, I'm pretty sure it does speed up your metabalism though because when I eat breakfast I get hungry again aroun 11:30 or so but if I dont I can go till 1:30 easily without being hungry at all.
 
I don't when I'm at home, I don't like eating as soon as I wake up either. I'll usually have a snack about 2-3 hours after I get up.

When I'm on the rig, I do have "breakfast" although I'm usually on nights and get up 2-3 hours before my shift starts. "Breakfast" is normally what other people have for their evening meal. I usually have something like scrambled eggs at the end of my shift so my meals are somewhat back to front.

Yep.

I have a bowl of fruit with Yoghurt and Honey or Bitesize Shreaded wheat. Prob the most important meal of the day. Yes it does kick start your meatabloism. Also it gives you them all important carbs to stave off hunger during the morning and helps you concentrate and gives you energy.

If I dont have breakfast I end up a load of rubbish at work
 
Yes I eat a bowl of porridge with dried cranberries and chopped nuts in it. It kills off any hunger to about lunch time which is great.
 
Yeah I have cerial and some orange or apple juice, I don't think I could get to lunch without it!

It is good for you to have breakfast though, even if its just a bannana before you leave or something
 
Me, definitely. I usually have a slice or two of toast before going to bed but I'm always ravenous again when I get up.
Mmmmm, food.
 
Not today as I was at work till 1 last night and dont feel up to it, you should though, to start your metabolism(sp)

I'm only ever hungry in the morning if I'm awake. I'd fight Otacon for the last bacon sandwich - horizontal or vertical. ;)
 
Normally I have a yogurt or a bowl of special k, but I can easily go without both as long as I get a coffee :D


Edit - this is Takhisis - I managed to throw lemonade over my keyboard so I'm using Mic's PC this morning before work :o

Keeping on topic - Mic just has tea for breakfast
 
The only time I eat breakfast is if I've had a skin full the night before or if I've been working very late - in other words, just about every day I'm working abroad I'll have breakfast.

'Breakfast' for me is usually a cup of tea whilst having a read of the newspaper.

I used to be the same. Never ate breakfast as I just wasn't hungry. Then I started my training and got into eating in the mornings. Now I can't go without my brekky. You CAN train yourself to be hungry in the mornings :)

Always have a bowl of cereal first thing when I get to work, otherwise I'm a mess and tend to find it difficult to stay awake for a little while during the morning.
 
No solid food can go thru my throat in the morning, just coffee, first thing I eat is at noon, funny thing is I don't really feel hungry at 11 o'clock in the morning.
