Who here eats breakfast?

Glass of juice
Economy sized bowl of porridge, a bit of golden syrup and a good handfull of sultanas
Toast of some form - today was a bagel
Mug of tea

I can't function without breakfast.
 
Oh yea.. cant miss breakfast.. i usually wake up feeling hungry.

Bowl of cereal, some orange juice and a banana for on the way to lectures.

Gets me off to a good start.

If you are not hungry in the morning then it is even more important that you eat your breakfast asap. You are not hungry because your metabolism has slowed to a crawl overnight and you need that breakfast to kickstart it.

Your body soon gets used to it and you will start feeling hungry in the mornings once your metabolism speeds up. Eating a good breakfast is absolutely crucial for so many reasons. Especially for those who wish to lose fat.

I think something to do with my appendix, going to the doctors at half 10. Going to try eat something soon see how it goes.
Usually i have toast or cereal in the morning depends what i have time for.

My younger brother (now 18) had a bad appendix when he was 6 and all I remember is that he was in a lot of pain and the doctor said it was appendicitus and he was rushed into hospital. I was asleep when all this was happening :confused:

He's right you know.

I never used to eat breakfast, couldn't face it in the morning. I still have my odd days where I can't face it, but generally I try to push myself to have it, especially if I'm going to work or Uni for the day.

I only have a large bowl of cheerios so I could probably do with some more than that but compared to in the past, it's a huge improvement for me. Plus I need it anyway as I lost a lot of weight over Christmas through illness and i'm still trying to put it back on. :(
 
my brekkie during the week: bio drink before i leave the house for work. then at work i'll have a cereal bar or a piece of fruit and a coffee

brekkie during weekend: cereal or toast. i'll skip it if i have a lie in until lunchtime though \o/
 
Like others I never ever used to bother as I couldn't face anything

Totally different now. I was at work the other Saturday and got up late so had to rush out. By about 10am I had a cracking headache which didn't start to go away till I ate something. I vary what I have as well. Some days porridge, some days cereal and other days toast.
 
Porridge - you can get it in sachets now which is a life saver, I always used to end up with thick or runny porridge. Found that if you empty the sachet into the bowl, then fill up the sachet with milk it comes out just right :)
 
Usualy I have a couple of boiled eggs in a couple of buns (small ones :p) of bread with some ham and tomatoes and stuff, a whey shake and sometimes a pit of orange juice.
