Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

I do 250-300miles a week and mainly motorways! Turn the music up! Has a brand new Alpine headunit with iPod/iPhone connection to ;)

And it is about 3.5rpm at 70 :)

Think of all them hunnies wanting to climb up on you for a lift in this beast! Gas or ass is the moto! (shame i am wifed up :( )

You buy? I hear yes? :D

Well just washed and polished the car and removed the splitter and mudflaps and cleaned the inside out.

Really cannot believe i am letting this car go for about 3K.... Way to much car for 3k... Girlfriend reckons i should garage it, but dunno. We'll see.

Will post pics up soon.

£36 to post a advert on Autotrader,THIRTYYYYYYY BLOODY SIX POUNDS!!!

£36?

Just been doing the advert up and uploading photos thinking i am going to have to pay about £12 for this (nearly crying about paying £12).... Then it asked me for £36 for 2 weeks, surely the site is broken? £36??

Ill stick with my free ads on Pistonheads for being a loyal member.

Well put it on Gumtree last night and had a few texts like "wotz the lowest u wud tek 4 the st".

If you are going to text me rather than ring me, at least put some effort into the text.

How come you're selling it? Why not get your monies worth? A Clio albeit a nice car is a bit of a sidestep really, bit quicker and thats it?

Because I am impatient, very impatient. I tried for a Type R and even though the online quote systems was reasonable, when it come to ringing them they all said I need to be 25+. Really think it is to do with a area thing though.

Can't wait another 2 years, so may as well get something what is comparable and can give the the Type R a run for its money.

I will admit, it does make me cry a little inside knowing my now budget at 8k could get me a decent DC5. Just can't find insurance for one :(

Good thing though, these Clio F1's seem to hold there money at the moment. So never know when it comes to us moving house.

Gumtree,

what a pit of failure that site attracts.

I wouldn't sell it to someone asking those questions on principle.

Not bothered to text back. Might just reply £1400 for the lol's.

Not from what I have read. All review sites praise them for there handling on and off the track. Some even saying they are the best hot hatch to have.

If I was honest though I would still get a Type R EP3/DC5 if I could get insurance.

Test drove a 197 F1 last night. I like it :)

Still got to sell the ST though, had to refuse to sell twice straight away as DVLA are taking there time to send me all the papers. Got my eye on something else aswell though, see how I feel after I have test driven ;)

Think the K&N induction kit would help a tiny bit on the rev range. Doubt my back box and centre pipe would help in any way. Must be my stripes :p

Really think 90mph is about 4.2k revs. Like I said I'll report back tomorrow or Friday. See where everybody revs are at, at 70mph.

That's the right one.

I got mine in a group buy for about £70 quid and it came with the full kit and 2 cold feed pipes.

Check FFST, might be a good deal going off on there.
