Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

As a complete mechanical noob can anyone tell me if there's a way to soften my suspension a tiny bit? The cars on Eibach lowering springs and it's a real bone shaker on bumps but I don't want to raise it... Is this possible?

Not with out adjustable coilovers.

Even standard springs are just as bad. Feel like I have been hit by a train we some of the pot holes around here.

I'm getting fed of trying to sell the Fiesta now, it is unreal how useless buyers are these days.

Had someone ring me yesterday to say he is definitely having my car and that he'll be here today to view and buy it. Text me this morning to say he'll be here around dinner time or will get i touch if not. Not heard anything since, nore had a reply back to my text or voicemail.

Problem is I have turned down 2 viewings today because of this guy. Though 1 was from Ireland so doubt that would have been today.

Civic was up for 2 minutes before it was gone to the first viewer who came straight away with cash ready.

Didn't turn them down, just told them I'll get back in touch if nothing happens.

Anyway the ST has just driven off with its new owner. The lad couldn't get the grin off his face from first seeing it, to leaving in it.

Took him on a good half a hour thrash round country roads, he loved it.

Now I'll show you the new beast I am driving. Just gotta get a pic.

The beast i am driving about in:

A yellow Mini Cooper :D

It is my mothers, she's of travelling Africa for the next few months so i am nicking her car for a bit whilst i search for my new car.

Sold mine cheap £2750.

To be fair I am driving about in a 1.6 mini cooper and it is not far off the fiesta on pace.... Just no torque at all, useless going up hills lol. Feels like I'm back in my Honda :p

How cack is the clutch cable/pedal design.

Had a clicking noise from the clutch pedal, had a look at it, no clip or anything retaining the plastic cable end. It was moving side to side on the clutch pedal arm, almost coming off. Disaster waiting to happen!

Stuck a couple of tie wraps around it and will try and get an E clip or something for it instead, there should be a hole in the arm to put a clip through to retain it properly imo.

They had a recall on this. Guess your ST missed it.

Sure it was 06/56/07 cars with the problem and recall.

1 of my calipers seized on my ST.

I dismantled it my self with a bit of a heavy hand/hammer/monkey grips/wd40.. Cleaned it up and lubed it up correctly. Worked fine again.

Took about a hour an half of F'in and blinding but saved me about £100.
