i had a problem with the bayonett (sp) MOt centre replaced the bulb and within a few days it was not working, ordered a new one, took the rear driver side light out and then swapped it over, no problems since

Soon as your ST's get to 60k, sell them!

I am now on 92k and getting offers around £1500 for my ST lol.... A LOT of car for £1500.

My 98 Civic with 101k on it cost me that....

I bought mine at 60k and got a bargain, £5500 for a ST500 3 and a half years old, I cant see me losing much over a year or two.

I am not going to let my ST go unless i get at least £2750 for it. Will just stick it in my nana's garage if i don't sell it in the next month. Shame really, as it is a great little car.

I would but most of my driving seems to be on motorways and I think 4k rpm at 70 would do my head in. Ford Y U NO MAKE 6 SPEED BOX?

It was my biggest gripe with my first ST, seemed to be screaming out for a sixth gear, my second ST doesnt seem to scream as much as the first did, maybe the gearings have been tweaked or something.

Well just washed and polished the car and removed the splitter and mudflaps and cleaned the inside out.

Really cannot believe i am letting this car go for about 3K.... Way to much car for 3k... Girlfriend reckons i should garage it, but dunno. We'll see.

this very much.

it drove me mental on long journeys. it was easier to sit at 60-65 and go slower than everyone else to avoid the headaches.

moving to a 6 speed box in the CTR was bliss.

Rybo89 - You took the splitter off which increases my chances of buying it from 10% to 20%

Problem is that it stands out too much, I've already had my Focus kicked, keyed and had a door mirror gutted for no reason at all (in before the everything happens for a reason crew) so I'm apprehensive about buying a bright red ST at this point in time. You shouldn't have much issue moving it on though.
