Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Decided I am going to go with the genunie ones direct from Ford. I would like to know of a place where I could get them fitted in or around Weston. I have been in contact with Gorilla Tints and wondering if there is anyone else.

What a set of scummy ****s. Never heard of someone doing that, I imagine Britains illustrious police force did little to help.

they did absolutely nothing, closed the case while i was on the phone to report it, then i got a phone call asking me how helpful id found the police. I said useless and they didn't understand why. The only good thing they do is sit on motorway bridges catching speeders. They don't do ANYTHING else.

Hi all.

Ive had my Fiesta ST now for just over 1 month, totally loving it.

Moondust Silver 27248 on the clock with FSH, all ready has a K&N filter & has a flexi exhaust bit.

I have a few ideas with regards to mods for the car, however the first thing i want to do, is detango the front indicators to clear ones, however i am finding it hard to find anywhere that sells them.

Could someone point me in the right direction please :)

Just picked my new car up, will take some photos tomorrow as it was pitch black when I picked it up. Couple of little niggles though which I knew about when test driving it but didn't put me off, really high 'bite' on the clutch, and there's nowhere for my left foot to go (apart from resting it on the clutch pedal) when its not being used for the clutch. So fun to drive though.

Is the high bite normal for this car or do I need to get it checked out?

Try one with a Helix organic clutch, they claim OEM feel...LOL is all I can say, its like a switch! Utterly awful for town driving if I'm honest, perhaps the only mod on my car that I am disappointed with/regret.

Perfect for the track, HORRIBLE everywhere else.

Well here she is.

Because of the material the hubcap is made of they said they couldn't paint them black. Would have preferred an all black look but I think it still looks all right.

Air Filters. Yes? No? Which one? etc.

are you good enough to be a STOC member, dont you have to have at least 300BHP to be i the cool gang over there? :p

Get supporting FFST both sides. ;)

Need some non-biased opinions! What to keep on the car? Currently got FFST on one side and FSTOC on the other....shall I match them up to FFST? Got a second sticker which I can put on...

I do like how the silver matches the car...damn I need to stop getting so pedantic about getting stuff perfect :p

That would annoy me having two different ones, mine has the STOC.com stickers on both side.

I think the wheels look nice with the silver in the middle.

Is it that bad? I thought the paddle clutch was meant to be the worst and the organic wasn't too bad?

Standard clutch with Quaife is the way to go then for a daily driver?

yes. Helix is great on track but on a daily driver? no no no :(

I've never driven a car with a paddle clutch so can't comment but I have even read somebody who said the paddle is actually better day to day.

My Helix clutch is like a switch, really sharp and to avoid stalling you've really gotta give it some revs. Crawling in traffic is a proper leg workout, and a battle to balance throttle and clutch smoothly. That mountune MR200 cars don't like being driven at low revs without a proper toe of throttle doesn't help. Rolling along in 1st gear at walking pace is almost impossible.

On the open road though, giving it some beans and making fast gear changes, the clutch is fine. Driving smoothly is much easier when pressing on than driving slowly, not ideal given most of my driving is in town!

Anyone ever had bother with their rear lights? My middle light and left light are not working, tried changing the bulb but didnt make any difference so its off to the electrics place tomorrow to get fixed under warranty.
