Who here owns a Mini?

@Armageus
Melting silver?
Looks very smart.

Did you go for auto or manual.

Yep - "Melting Silver" Paint colour, which looks a lot better imo than the flat grey that a lot of Minis have

Went for a manual, as the Wife has an irrational "I've never driven an auto" clause that I couldn't talk her out of.

I felt a choice of a few “free” colours wouldn’t have gone amiss!

I don’t mind the silver myself you actually don’t see too many in that colour, they had it in the dealership we bought from (Williams Bolton) my wife wanted a colour or black, so we got green as I didn’t want black!

Managed to get around just fine in the snow/ice, I found the automatic just fine, it was easy to creep along without any wheelspin.

I wanted the green, wife wanted red. So we ordered red.

Sorry to jump two footed straight into this thread,but I'm after a bit of advice.I've recently just a 2020 mini jcw lci and I'm looking at replacing the exhaust. Don't wanna faf around with a res delete,so I'm looking at gpf back. Been mostly looking at Scorpion and remus systems,but would be grateful of any other suggestions or input to what your running on your cars.Thanks in advance:D:D

I ran the JCW pro exhaust on the pre LCI. It was pukka. All I would say is go for valved. There many days I just want a quiet car.

Even the pro exhaust was a little tame from the inside due to all the interior dampening the sound. Once I removed the board from the boot, the carpet underneath also removed, and one of the back seats down. OMG the sound was now on a different level. The bark was absolutely brilliant and all the nuances at different throttle levels could now be heard.

I'd say try the removal even with stock exhaust and see how you like it. Gave me extra boot space too instead of 2 compartments.

I was always disappointed with the stock sound on my LCI JCW. It was just too muted. My Dad had a LCI JCW as well, but has since traded it for a pre-lci auto and the sound difference is laughable lol. It almost sounds like it’s modded compared to the LCI.

I definitely agree here. You don't want that droning motorway noise while cruising at 70! Although, it doesn't do much in the morning on a cold start :p

Cobra? I got a cat back system from them for my Corsa VXR (as VX wanted £1k for just a replacement back box) - it's not silly loud at all and that was the non-resonated version.

Doesn't have much extra cabin noise in the front when keeping a constant speed, can be a bit loud when you are flooring it but nothing outrageous IMO.
