Who here owns a Renaultsport?

how much did it cost?

wouldn't mind something like this :

£150 + my old wheel.

Mine looks exactly like that, only with a grey leather centre band at the top.

You coming to the RR? Can see mine there.

Oooh cool, I'd be interested in seeing your wheel at the RR :)

Just sent my bullets off to be sprayed. I'm going for Arctic Blue with silver lettering, although I'm tempted by anthracite lettering to match my wheels, I have until tomorrow to decide :)

Basically, I'm trying to copy this Clio, as I LOVE it, I'm pretty much there once the bullets are done, but I'll be keeping my silver Renault diamonds and clear side repeaters for now, hence why I think the silver detail on the bullets will be better :)

I can't go that low though as the front will rub like a **** on the wheel arches.

No i'm not coming.

Is the wheel easy to remove? I wanted to just drive it somewhere tbh, I hate DIY:p

Yeah, its 1 bolt. The hardest part is the airbag removal. Need to disconnect the battery and leave it for 30 mins to discharge, then get it off. Changing the wheel itself is a 2 minute job.

Arran sends you a new wheel, you swap it over, then send back your old one, so no need to be without a wheel.

That would be a nightmare with speedbumps SS, looks lower than mine.

Skeeter, Mikey on CS does it for £100. Is the guy you used worth the extra £50?

Damn its sold.

If anyone hears of a 182 FF getting sold in Scotland - give me a shout.

Its time to get one before its too late.

I'd pay £150 if it looked like Tim's picture and he sent the new wheel out first. Looks ace and turns a crap, 90s looking wheel into something that looks great and current.

Unfortunately its still the size of a bus wheel, but hey ho, cant have everything :)

How much mate :)

The initial diagnostic was £19, then it was about £50-55 for the set up. They do the diagnostic then talk you through the results, ask what you want it for (track, fast road/track, etc.), make recommendations or ask what you want, then they do it all. So they adjust the camber, toe, etc etc.

Very good service, plus there's TVs to watch, magazines and newspapers to read, slot machines to play on, I think upstairs there are some game consoles, and there's a cafe with hot food and lovely hot chocolate while you wait. I didn't want to leave :D

What is the deal with replacement headunits on these? I assume they usually display to the screen at the top (the one I'm looking at has built-in nav, mind)? Are there headunits/cables that will accommodate things like the screen and remote (does it even have a remote?)

On normal models all you get in the display is cd track number and radio station, nothing you're going to miss hugely.

I think Alpine do a cable that retains the top display but it isn't cheap from what I remember.

Yes they have steering wheel remotes and adapters are available for all the main HU manufacturers.

I had a Pioneer unit in mine with a stalk adapter, it also stuck the word 'pioneer' on the display up top.

The built in nav unit was a pretty rare option to no idea how that effects what is displayed, but the remote will still be the same I'd have thought.
