Who here owns a Renaultsport?

SS, are you on a mission to have the best spec'ed 182 in the UK?

Haha, it's far from the best specced unfortunately.

There is a guy selling some on the owners club at the moment, offering them for £500 p/x for some standard 182 seats.

Yeah I saw that, but he lives in Newcastle, and I don't have £500 spare at the moment.

ScarySquirrel... noticed your thread on CS and the fact your have Eibach Sportlines. How do they compare to standard, any trouble with speed bumps? It looks much better and at the perfect height! Ta.

Some older version Evo's have Recaro's in them. If you scout the Evo forums there's lots being sold by people breaking. I think plain black ones are hard to come by but worth a look.

I have sportlines all round on my 182 and tbh I end up rubbing on those annoying square speed bumps that you have to straddle, so I end up driving slowly over them one wheel on, one wheel off so I dont make contact as I hate the scraping that comes from the cat

It does infuriate the drivers behind me though as they all zoom over them then I come doddling along :D

Edit.... also I have standard suspension otherwise so the height is just right for me... i dunno if the ktec coilovers SS has make it even lower or not, probably not I'd imagine?

Thanks for the input dude! Something to consider... quite a few of those style speed bumps around my way, but I don't mind holding a few drivers up to get over the bumps :)! Will have to look in to these in the future. Ta again :)

Hi mate, I did have Sportlines and they were great. Never had issues with speedbumps, and I only changed them as my shocks were on their way out (I think) and I wanted it a bit lower. Now I'm on KTEC coilovers.

The coilovers I am on now are definitely lower than the Sportlines. Most coilovers will let you go so low that the car won't even move.

There have been a couple of Millteks on the owners club appear for under £300 - I can't see any point in opting for a new exhaust, IMO.

I doubt a cat back will see you any performance gains but you will have to declare it to your insurance company.

Out of all those, I'd probably go with wheels - this is where you stand to gain the most if you can find some wheels that are significantly lighter (no idea if the Turinis are or not?).

Disgusting.

Get a plain plate, standard font, no border with a smaller one at the front so as to fit on the bumper (fancyplates.com). Job done.
