Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Seem very hard to find second hand! If I can sell my 182 wheels for £260 that's not so bad...

£580 - £260 = £320 for a new set of turinis. Sorry but I don't know what PCD fitments are.

They will need to have the correct ET and PCD for the Clio I would imagine. Not all wheels are standard fitment, they will need to be made to fit the Clio basically. Not sure if all Turnis are in the same fitment or not. Plus KTEC site is cheaper is it not?

£260 with or without tyres?

Just went a drive, and the exhaust has went! Never bottomed out or anything so not any new damage! Need to wait a couple of weeks to get it on a ramp, but the noise is undriveable!

It sounds more front end then anything, just my luck.

Another "mod" to my clio, I've finally done something I've been meaning to do for ages, and that is to have a dedicated button for my garage door in my car.

Please excuse the shocking solder, I bought a soldering iron under the impression it came with assorted tips when in fact that's an extra and it comes with a 4mm tip! It's like trying to thread a needle with a hammer.

Begbie, for reference, 16" Clio 1*2 wheels are 4x100 bolt spacing, 7J rim width and a centre bore of 60.1mm. The ET (offset) varies depending on suspension setup (Cup, non cup, Trophy, etc) but I think they vary from 35 to 45. They should be printed in the inside of you current wheels somewhere.

Thanks Skeeter, will be looking at a set some point in the future.

What sidelights are the norm for the clio? Don't want blue, but want rid of the yellow tinge. Also any recommendations on main bulbs?

Looks so nice SS!

Mine should be looking similar in a couple of months time. Like I say, I'm earning money everyday now so it won't take long to save up for the exhaust + alloys

Miltek + Turinis = £1000? - £260 for my wheels = £740.

SS, would you do me a MAHOOOSIVE favor? Feel free to say no! Could you photoshop picture 7 with WHITE turinis? (I only ask because I'm assuming you're familiar with the program, I would do it myself but haven't got a clue how to) I've seen many pictures now but none have been good shots :( Really want to be different but would be annoyed if I went for white and then disliked them!

Stay away from the multi LED bulbs, I got some for my car and they looked pretty bad because of the clear headlights. I have some like this in my car, I think they look great :)

As for main bulbs I'm not sure, do you have xenons? if not I'm not sure otherwise I'm afraid :(

Sidelights (they are a little dimmer than this in real life, not much though)

This is the best I could do, I ran out of patience with the rear wheel!:

SS, that's a thing of beauty!

I'm really tempted to make this my next car. REALLY tempted. I really need ride shotgun in sometime soon!

Out of interest what kind of MPG figures are you guys getting?

Guys, for your 3/4 plates, are you choosing the 3/4 option or entering a specific size?

My numberplate bolts are right on the outside of the numberplate, so I need to retain full width, which most of the pics with 3/4 plates seem to be, but 3/4 on fancyplates appears to be 130mm shorter than a standard plate.

Logic tells me to order one that is 520mm x 84mm, I just wanted to check what everyone else was doing.

Edit: Meh, I just ordered one at the size anyway.

Nice one will get them ordered! :)

Yeah I have xenons but looking at the price of them, I think will wait untill mine fail!

DarkShadow - high 30's is easily obtainable when driving sensibly. I have averaged 40mpg over a whole tank once, but it took a lot of effort and was boring.

At the moment I am averaging 33mpg and my car is only used at weekends for some fun, so not driven economically at all :P

SS - you need to put a disclaimer on your posts with photos on. "Warning, photos of awesome Clio may make you want to spend money!"

Personally, I have given up caring about the external appearance of mine and will be saving my money for track days and tyres :)

Sounds good to me mate. I have no doubt that I'll get bored of it and start abusing it a bit more and maybe doing track days. If that day comes I'll be ripping off the coilovers and going for some decent aftermarket shocks and Sportlines with some 15" track day wheels/tyres :)
