Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Will a decat still pass an MOT on these or do they need to have the CAT put back on come MOT time?

What is the best one to go for? Saw the Miltek one which is nicely priced.

You'll need to put the cat back on. Was chatting to a bloke today who's sports cat also failed the MOT so don't even consider a sports cat.

It'll depend which exhaust you have as to which decat will fit, I would imagine.

Thought they all would have been standard fitment? Changing it about shouldn't be too much hassle really as will need to go on the ramp to get a pre-mot check anyway.

Has anyone here done it, does it really make a difference bar the noise?

They might be different lengths depending on the design of the exhaust. I might be chatting **** but I'll be shocked if a Yozza decat will fit on a Miltek.

Cat is the most restrictive part of the exhaust, so I've heard.

Speaking of which when mine was on the ramps today my Miltek already has two small blows on where it splits to go to each silencer :( has only been on less than 6 months. Will be getting that sorted(replaced/changed) me thinks.

I decatted mine the other day, I'm going to stick it on the emissions machine tomorrow morning out of curiosity, I'll report back with my findings :)

Also, I'd have thought most decats will fit most systems, as most are designed as a catback system to fit your standard cat, therefore the decat section would always have to be the same as the cat, and thus universal.

Thats shocking, is it not under a warranty? Will need to get mine checked ASAP!

Nice, be good to hear your findings.

4 bloody ours to change clutch cable on the valver after it snapping last night at the pedal adjuster. tried to keep string attached to the broken cable as I pulled it through the bulkhead as a guide but it came off

still at it, just managed to get the new one through just now still got to faff about with the pedal :(

something is telling me to quit for today.

Dunno how far im going to go with the stripping of the car, just need to remove the rest of the plastic trim, and once i pick up some carbon interior panels for a decent price, i'll take out all the door cards etc. Gonna take the seats out tomorrow and mark up something for some custom subframes. Harnesses will be ordered soon too.

Decided to do the hazzard surround to match my dash strips tonight. Thought i would take some photos to show step by step. And yes i've only just realised i had the whole thing upside down in the last photo :p

A yozza decat on a K-tec recessed fits (or so I have heard ;)) I am sure if you posted on Cliosport someone would know.

Has a life time guarantee. I'll ring K-tec this week and see if it's them or Miltek I need to deal with. Fitting it isn't a problem I'll need the replacement here before I can send the first one back. I'm not paying a penny in any courier charges either. Ball ache.

If I have to option to swap I'll go for a different one.

Do they come in different PCD fitments? Not better going second hand?

Seem very hard to find second hand! If I can sell my 182 wheels for £260 that's not so bad...

£580 - £260 = £320 for a new set of turinis. Sorry but I don't know what PCD fitments are.
