Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Holy crap!!!!

Just seen my car with SILVER turinis, looks AMAZING! Think I'm going to choose these over white and anthracite.

Oh, what's your opinion on the silver over antha and white though SS? I literally want all 3 shades :(

I'm thinking white looks a bit tacky, anthra a tad dull but awesome and silver just right.

Well, if I ever get mine refurbed I'll probably be going silver. I did a Photoshop of it (albeit a bad one, the ones in the photo you posted look a much nicer silver) a few weeks back and I really liked it.

So yeah, if I ever have a change, it will be to silver.

Has anyone tried the Brembo rear brake discs and pads for the 182. Mine will need the rear brakes changed pretty shortly and had thought about trying the Brembo's over the standard Renault discs. Will probably change the fronts as well with the Brembo HC discs and pads.

Ordered! Should be here Tuesday :)

Now to get my 182 wheels on ebay! Put them up for £235 buy it now, or best offer.

Most people recommend just getting OEM rear discs and pads, as apparently they don't do a lot anyway. If the Brembo rear disc and pad combo is cheaper though, I don't think you could go far wrong.

Try and sell them on the forums first, that way you don't have eBay fees to pay.

Did you go for Silver then?

I've ordered the Brembo front and rear discs and pads. Can't really be any worse than the Renault parts. The rear discs are showing a fair bit of wear now and with the MOT coming up shortly its worth getting them changed. The fronts would probably be OK for a while longer but may as well change at the same time. I've also ordered a service kit (including NGK spark plugs) and several spare ball joints as my car keeps failing MOTs on them.

Im keeping the car for another 6 months and then im getting rid of it, will have had it for over 4 years by then. I do however want it to drive well over the summer months so don't mind spending some more money on it.

Do the Brembo rears come with the bearings or are you having to press out your old ones first?

As said the rears do pretty little, and as standard from Renault they are sold as discs complete with new bearings pressed in. Makes them more expensive at around £90 now (used to be £150 back in the day!), but you get new bearings ;)

Should be fine, one comment on their says you need to reuse your abs rings so be careful if that's the case :)

I did wonder about that and if thats the case its not so good and should probably have gone for the Renault parts. Oh well :(

*edit* Does anyone know the correct ABS ring from either eurocarparts or GSF.
